Round 18 of the 2026 F1 season has been completed at COTA in the United States GP, view the full race results here.

Championship leader Kimi Antonelli started on pole position as he had his first opportunity to win the 2026 F1 title. If George Russell was 9th or lower and Lewis Hamilton was 5th or lower, he would take the crown in Austin.

Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar were 2nd and 3rd for Red Bull. Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton completed the top 5 in their Ferraris.

George Russell was down in P6, followed by Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Liam Lawson and Pierre Gasly. Thanks to a five-place grid penalty for an ICE change, Arvid Lindblad started 14th.

Fernando Alonso was in P12 alongside Nico Hülkenberg as Gabriel Bortoleto and Franco Colapinto went to the back of the grid because of penalties thanks to component changes. Bearman was 13th as the Haas duo sandwiched Lindblad.

Williams are having a shocking weekend on pace. Sainz and Albon were P16 and P17 ahead of the Cadillacs.

Aston Martin broke Parc Fermé rules to change the set-up on Lance Stroll’s car and make engine component switches, meaning he started from the pits.
