DAMS Lucas Oil’s Dino Beganovic takes back-to-back wins in the F2 Sprint Race at the 2026 Azerbaijan GP, full results below.

The double qualifying session on Thursday saw Rodin Motorsport dominate the field, with Alex Dunne and Martinius Stenshorne storming to pole position in Qualifying 1 and 2, respectively. With the Rodin duo set to lock out the front row for the Feature Race later today, all eyes turned to Nikola Tsolov and Laurens van Hoepen as they lined up at the front for the Sprint Race.

At lights out, Tsolov maintained the lead heading into Turn 1, while Dino Beganovic swept around the outside of van Hoepen to take second. After a strong Qualifying yesterday, Mari Boya was spun around by Rafael Câmara, who missed his braking point and locked up. The incident subsequently deployed an early safety car, while Câmara was handed a ten-second time penalty for causing a collision.

Having started the race from tenth, Dunne made his way up the field to move into fifth by Lap 4. With DRS open, Beganovic snatched the lead from Tsolov as the pair headed down the pit straight. The Bulgarian ran wide at the exit of Turn 16, allowing van Hoepen to sail past as Dunne continued to close in.

After Dunne and Câmara passed Tsolov for third and fourth respectively, he was left fighting to hold on to fifth. However, Joshua Dürksen ran wide and into the barriers at the first corner, triggering a late-race safety car.

A major pile-up at the restart completely reshuffled the order, with much of the field caught up in the chaos. However, out in front, Beganovic claims back-to-back Sprint Race victories on the streets of Baku.
