Campos Racing’s Nikola Tsolov claimed back-to-back victories and his fifth win of the season in the F2 Sprint Race at the 2026 British GP, full results below.
After claiming a third pole position in Qualifying, Rafael Câmara lined up on the fifth row for the Sprint Race due to the championship’s reverse-grid format, while Gabriele Minì and Ritomo Miyata started on the front row. A strong launch off the line saw the Italian lead into Turn 1. Behind him, Rafael Villagómez moved up from P3 to P2, while Nikola Tsolov leaped from P6 to P3.
On the second lap, John Bennett came to a stop on the Hamilton Straight while Sebastian Montoya pulled into a run-off area further around the circuit. As a result, the incident led to the deployment of a safety car. The race resumed on Lap 6, with Minì acing the restart. Meanwhile, behind him, Tsolov battled with Villagómez for P2.
The stewards soon handed Martinius Stenshorne a ten-second time penalty for an early-race incident with Câmara. After starting at the front of the field, Miyata struggled for pace and significantly slipped down the order, as he found himself in P10 with seven laps to go.
Having been stuck behind Minì for several laps, Tsolov continued searching for a way through to take the lead. Soon, Minì was forced to defend against the charging Bulgarian, who made a move around the outside to take the lead. However, out in front, Tsolov claimed his fifth win of the season.
