DAMS Lucas Oil’s Dino Beganovic storms to his first F2 Feature Race victory at the 2026 Spanish GP, full results below.

Sprint Saturday saw Ritomo Miyata claim his long-awaited maiden F2 victory, while Emerson Fittipaldi Jr. and Laurens van Hoepen rounded out the podium. However, attention turned to the Feature Race, where polesitter Beganovic lined up alongside Alex Dunne on the front row.

Tyre strategies varied across the grid, with Nikola Tsolov among those who opted to start the race on a set of hard tyres. At lights out for the first-ever F2 Feature Race in Madrid, Beganovic got a strong launch off the line and led the pack into Turn 1.

Kush Maini found the barriers at the exit of Turn 18 after Cian Shields spun him around, deploying the first safety car of the race on Lap 3. However, as the safety car period came to an end on Lap 6, van Hoepen, Mari Boya and both Van Amersfoort Racing drivers were the first to head into the pits for their mandatory stops.

By Lap 13, the leading drivers began to head into the pits after recognising the significant time loss from making a stop, with Câmara among those to come in. Soon, Tsolov peeled into the pits on the following lap.

Eagerly battling for track position, Câmara forced Oliver Goethe into the barriers at Turn 1 on Lap 19, bringing out a second safety car, with Beganovic, Dunne and Miyata taking advantage of the interruption to head into the pits. And as a result, the Brazilian driver was handed a ten-second time penalty for causing a collision.

As drivers settled into a rhythm, Beganovic, Dunne, Miyata, Fittipaldi Jr. and Dürksen rounded out the top five. However, out in front, Beganovic returns to the top step of the podium and converts his pole position start to a Feature Race win.
