Nissan Formula E Team’s rookie and simulator driver Abbi Pulling will return to competitive action at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia later this month, when she takes part in the second-ever all-women’s test session.
Building on previous success
The rising star brings considerable experience in the Nissan e-4ORCE 05 to the test, having topped the timesheets during the inaugural all-women’s session last year. She has since built on that performance by competing in the Berlin Rookie Test during Season 11, whilst also fulfilling simulator duties and attending numerous race weekends with the Japanese manufacturer since the team confirmed her appointment in June.

Beyond her Formula E commitments, the F1 Academy champion has maintained race fitness throughout 2025 by competing in the GB3 Championship, where she recently secured a podium finish at Brands Hatch.
The Valencia test marks Pulling’s first outing with the team in Season 12, which will close out the current GEN3 regulations. The session takes place on 31 October, concluding the Pre-Season Testing programme with two three-hour sessions running from 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:00 local time (UTC +1).
Volpe opens up on Pulling’s development with the Nissan Formula E Team
Tommaso Volpe, managing director and team principal of Nissan Formula E Team, expressed his enthusiasm about Pulling’s continued development with the squad. “We’re very excited to see Abbi [Pulling] back on track after her appearances with the team last season, and to keep working with her and monitoring her progress,” he said.
“She has already demonstrated how skilled and professional she is, and we are all enjoying collaborating with her regularly since she officially joined the team back in June. This test is another great opportunity for Abbi to keep building on her experience and knowledge of the Nissan e-4ORCE 05, which will not only benefit her as a driver and in her role with us, but also the team. We have an ambitious program for her but she definitely has what it takes to succeed, and we’re all looking forward to having her back in the car.”
Pulling’s ambitions ahead of Valencia
Pulling focuses on maximising the opportunity to further her understanding of the machinery ahead of the new season. “I’m excited to get back on-track with Nissan Formula E Team and continue helping them to prepare for the upcoming season,” she said.
“My target for this test is to once again get to grips with the Nissan e-4ORCE 05 and build on my learnings from the Berlin Rookie Test. I’ve really enjoyed my time with the crew over the past year, and I’m looking forward to continuing to work together at the test and in the simulator during the 2025/26 campaign.”
