AF Corse and Cetilar Racing will field two Ferrari 499Ps throughout the complete 2026/27 Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) season, strengthening the grid ahead of the championship’s new Hypercar era.
Cetilar Racing will enter the No. 47 Ferrari with technical management from AF Corse for Roberto Lacorte, Nicola Lacorte and Ferrari Official Driver Antonio Fuoco. AF Corse will separately field the No. 90 for Luís Pérez Companc alongside Ferrari Official Drivers Nicklas Nielsen and Yifei Ye.
Both cars will contest all three rounds and six four-hour races during the upcoming season, although the entries remain subject to confirmation by the Asian Le Mans Series Selection Committee.
Cetilar Racing steps up to Hypercar with No. 47 Ferrari
Cetilar Racing will make the move into the championship’s top category after already establishing itself as one of the leading teams in the ALMS.
The Italian squad finished second in the overall standings last season and will now take on a significantly different challenge with the Ferrari 499P. Roberto Lacorte remains central to the programme and will share the No. 47 with Nicola Lacorte and Fuoco, while AF Corse will continue providing technical management.
The move represents another major step in Cetilar Racing’s endurance racing journey. The team will enter its first ALMS Hypercar campaign as it approaches the 10th anniversary of its first participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which came in June 2017.
Roberto Lacorte described the opportunity to race the 499P as a milestone for the team.
“The new challenge we’re about to take on alongside Ferrari, in a top-tier category like Hypercar and in a rapidly growing championship like the Asian Le Mans Series, is a milestone in Cetilar Racing’s history. And the fact that it coincides with the 10th anniversary of our first participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which took place in June 2017, speaks volumes about how much the team has grown over this decade, gaining experience and achieving success in the world’s most important endurance championships.

Cetilar Racing will reveal the No. 47’s new livery at the end of October before the championship begins in November.
AF Corse pairs Pérez Companc with Nielsen and Ye
AF Corse will bring a second Ferrari 499P to the grid with its No. 90 entry, combining Pérez Companc with two drivers already closely associated with Ferrari’s Hypercar programme.
Nielsen and Ye will bring significant experience of the 499P to the new programme. Their familiarity with Ferrari’s Hypercar machinery should prove particularly valuable as Pérez Companc adapts to the car ahead of the season opener.
Nielsen also already knows Pérez Companc as a teammate. The pair have previously shared LMP2 machinery, giving them an established working relationship before they begin their ALMS campaign together.
The Danish driver welcomed the opportunity to reunite with Pérez Companc while also competing alongside Ye.
“I’m very happy to be racing in the Asian Le Mans Series with Luís and Yifei. We’ve been doing quite a lot of LMP2 together with Luís, so I’m looking forward to driving with him again in such a competitive championship. It’s always nice to drive the 499P, so I’m looking forward to trying a new environment”.
The No. 90 line-up consequently combines Pérez Companc’s endurance experience with two established Ferrari Hypercar drivers, while Cetilar Racing adopts a similar approach by pairing Roberto and Nicola Lacorte with Fuoco.
Two Ferrari 499Ps join new Hypercar era
The announcement gives Ferrari two cars for the ALMS as the championship prepares for its new Hypercar category.
Both the No. 47 and No. 90 will contest the full season rather than making selected appearances, placing Ferrari at the heart of the championship’s move into top-level prototype competition.
For Cetilar Racing, the programme also carries historical significance. The team describes itself as the first private squad to take on this opportunity with the 499P, marking another expansion of Ferrari’s Hypercar presence beyond its established factory programme.
AF Corse will play an important role across both entries. The team will directly operate the No. 90 while also providing technical management for Cetilar Racing’s No. 47, creating two separate programmes around the same Ferrari prototype.
Three rounds and six four-hour races
The 2026/27 Asian Le Mans Series campaign will begin at Circuit Paul Ricard in France on 14–15 November 2026.
Both Ferrari 499Ps will then return after the winter break for the second round at Circuito de Jerez on 16–17 January 2027. The championship will conclude at Portimão on 20–21 February.
Each of the three rounds will contain two four-hour races, giving AF Corse and Cetilar Racing six opportunities to compete with the 499P across the full campaign.
The confirmation of both programmes consequently gives Ferrari a significant presence as the ALMS begins its Hypercar chapter. Cetilar Racing will make one of the largest steps in its history by moving into the category with the No. 47, while AF Corse combines Pérez Companc, Nielsen and Ye in the No. 90.
With both entries committed to the complete season, the Ferrari 499P will now form an important part of the fight for the inaugural ALMS Hypercar honours when the championship begins at Paul Ricard in November.
