AJ Foyt Racing has announced a strategic partnership with Crosslink Motorsports, establishing a structured pathway for young drivers aiming to reach the top levels of American open-wheel racing.
This collaboration links Crosslink’s strong presence in junior formula categories with AJ Foyt Racing’s programmes in both the NTT INDYCAR Series and INDY NXT by Firestone. As a result, aspiring drivers will benefit from a clearer progression route through the ranks of the sport.

The partnership centres on creating a defined ladder system, beginning in the Formula 4 U.S. Championship and progressing through the Formula Regional Americas Championship. Therefore, from there, drivers can advance to INDY NXT and ultimately the INDYCAR Series.
Notably, several current INDYCAR drivers have followed similar pathways. Drivers such as Kyle Kirkwood, David Malukas, Christian Rasmussen and Nolan Siegel all developed their careers through F4 and Formula Regional Americas before reaching higher levels of competition.
A historic team expands its vision
Founded by four-time Indianapolis 500 winner A. J. Foyt, AJ Foyt Racing remains one of the most iconic teams in American motorsport. The organisation continues to compete at the highest level while investing in the future of the sport through driver development initiatives.
“Driver development has always been an important part of motorsports, and we’re excited to partner with Crosslink Motorsports to increase our commitment in that area,” said Larry Foyt, President of AJ Foyt Racing. “Gill and his team have done an excellent job developing young drivers, and this partnership allows us to connect those emerging talents with opportunities in INDY NXT and eventually the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. It’s about building the future of the sport.”
Crosslink’s proven track record
Crosslink Motorsports has built a strong reputation as a leading driver development team in North America. The organisation has guided numerous drivers through the early stages of their careers, focusing on racecraft, technical knowledge and professional growth.
“We’ve always believed strongly in developing drivers the right way, both on and off the track,” explained Gill Kaszuba, Owner of Crosslink Motorsports. “This partnership with AJ Foyt Racing creates an incredible opportunity for young drivers coming through the FIA ladder system to have a clear vision of where their careers can go. AJ Foyt Racing has one of the most respected names in motorsports, and we’re proud to align with them to help identify and prepare the next generation of professional drivers.”

Through this collaboration, drivers within the Crosslink system will gain enhanced exposure and access to AJ Foyt Racing’s technical expertise. They will also have opportunities to engage with engineers, team personnel and development resources as they progress through the single-seater ladder.
Ultimately, this partnership strengthens the connection between grassroots racing and the highest tiers of American open-wheel competition, providing a clearer and more structured route for the next generation of racing talent.
