Hitech has confirmed the signing of F2 veteran and Paraguayan driver Joshua Dürksen for the 2027 season. It will be the third team in the series for the Mercedes development driver since his debut in 2024.
2026 has been a mixed bag for the for the 22-year-old. He took an absolutely stunning double win at Monza last month, winning the Sprint race from P7 on the grid. Dürksen also drove an exceptionally strong Feature Race to hold off championship leader and teammate Rafael Câmara to complete a remarkable weekend.
Despite also winning the Melbourne and Spa Sprint Races, far too many Friday struggles in qualifying have left him way down the grid too often to be championship factor.
Nonetheless, if he wins a race before the end of 2026, or in 2027 with Hitech, Joshua Dürksen will hold the outright record for wins in F2. He is currently tied at the top on eight victories.
