Campos Racing’s Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak led the team’s 1-2 finish to secure the team’s first-ever FIA Formula 3 Teams’ Championship, full report and results below.

This weekend marks the final round of the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season. On Friday, AIX Racing’s Brad Benavides delivered an impressive final lap during Qualifying to secure his second pole position of the year, with Ugo Ugochukwu and Noel Leon completing the top three. Sprint Race Saturday saw MP Motosport’s Tim Tramnitz crossing the line to claim a well-managed victory on track, reigniting his hopes of finishing second in the Drivers’ Standings. However, a 10-second time penalty that was applied post-race would strip Tramnitz off his second consecutive Sprint win at Monza, relegating him down the order to eighteenth in the final classification. As a result, Rodin Motorsport’s Roman Bilinski inherited the victory, making history as the first Polish driver to win in FIA Formula 3.

Heading into the final race, the fight for second in the championship will go down to the wire between Mari Boya, Nikola Tsolov, Tim Tramnitz and Martinius Stenshorne. While Tramnitz and Stenshorne will need flawless drives to the podium for any chance of contention, the focus remains heavily on the Campos Racing duo of Boya and Tsolov.

Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Benavides and Ugochukwu who lineup on the front-row in search of their first taste of victory in FIA Formula 3.

Lights out for the final Feature Race of the season!

A great launch off the line for Benavides as he cut across the track to defend from Ugochukwu. Inthraphuvasak and Leon went side by side into the Roggia chicane as the Thai driver had to back out of the move. Even before the first lap ended, a safety car was soon deployed for Charlie Wurz, marking his second retirement of the weekend.

After contact with Giusti, Tramnitz was in the pits for a new front-wing. However, we were soon back racing on Lap 2. Benavides aced the safety car restart, but soon ran across the Roggia chicane. Going through Parabolica, Benavides let Ugochukwu through, but soon got his fellow American back headed into Turn 1. Capitalising on the opportunity, late-braking into the first corner for Inthraphuvasak allowed him to claim P2, dropping Ugochukwu down to P3. However, the McLaren backed junior would soon reclaim his position in P2.

Second safety car for Barrichello

A second safety car was deployed for debutant Barrichello who was beached into the gravel. As it stood, with Tsolov in P4 and Boya in P15, the Bulgarian would finish second in the drivers’ championship.

On Lap 6, the safety car ended and we were back racing again. Benavides went early once again as they headed through Parabolica. It was a terrible restart for Inthraphuvasak who fell down the order to P5, allowing Tsolov and Leon through.

Third safety car for Ugochukwu

Spinning at the same corner as Barrichello, Ugochukwu spun on Lap 7, beaching his car into the gravel trap as well. A safety car was deployed once again. Meanwhile, it was looking good for Campos Racing in their pursuit of securing their first Teams’ Championship, with Tsolov and Inthraphuvasak scoring valuable points. On Lap 10, racing resumed once again.

Further down the field, Stenshorne sent it down the inside of Taponen as they headed into the Rettifilo chicane. Yellow flags flew briefly for Johnson who had spun. Under pressure from Leon, the Mexican was closing up on the rear of Tsolov’s car. The Bulgarian looked to lunged down the inside of Benavides, but quickly backed out. Around the outside of Benavides, Tsolov seized the lead but Benavides retook into the Roggia chicane.

Fiercly battling down the field, Zagazeta and Taponen fiercly battled, forcing the Peruvian off into the gravel trap and losing his front-wing. He was then forced to retire. Inthraphuvasak stuck a move around the outside of Leon to claim the final spot on the podium provisionally. As it stood, both remaining Trident drivers and all Campos drivers were all in the points.

Câmara on a charge to the podium

By Lap 16, Câmara had charged his way from the back of the field to P6. Inthraphuvasak sent it around the outside of Benavides to claim the lead of the race. Now, it was a clear five-way fight for the win. Headed down the main straight, Benavides was on the grass and momentarily lost control of his car, running straight on as they headed into the Rettifilo chicane.

A bold move from Câmara as he attempted to lunge down the inside of Bilinski. The Brazilian was now another step closer to another podium-finish. As two laps remained, the two Campos driver had to bring it home safely for them to secure the Team’s championship. Side-by-side headed down into Turn 1, Tsolov and Inthraphuvasak continued to battle it out.

As the front of the field continued to battle, Leon managed to hold his position and defend from Benavides for the final spot on the podium. However, it was Campos Racing’s day as Inthraphuvasak led the team home to a one-two.
