Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic dominated Thursday’s GB3 Championship test sessions at Silverstone. The Australian topped two of the three outings and produced the day’s quickest time in the final run. His best lap of 1m53.355s placed him comfortably ahead of the field, setting the standard before the weekend’s competitive action.

Will Macintyre of Elite Motorsport emerged as Ninovic’s closest challenger. He also posted his best performance in the last session, finishing 0.276s adrift. Rodin Motorsport’s Abbi Pulling continued her strong form, sealing third overall with a 1m53.752s lap from session two. Her effort kept her 0.169s clear of Hitech TGR’s Deagen Fairclough, who had been fastest in the opening session.

Fairclough’s teammate Keanu Al Azhari secured fifth, just 0.087s behind, while Argenti with Prema’s Reza Seewooruthun took sixth thanks to his session-three pace. VRD Racing’s Hugo Schwarze led his team’s charge in seventh, narrowly ahead of Xcel Motorsport’s Patrick Heuzenroeder.

Returnee Enzo Tarnvanichkul impressed with top-10 appearances in all sessions, ending the day ninth. JHR’s Noah Lisle rounded out the group, only seven thousandths slower, leaving the top ten covered by exactly nine tenths of a second.

Elite Motorsport’s Bianca Bustamante claimed 11th, just over a second from Ninovic’s benchmark. Close battles unfolded throughout the midfield, with the likes of Kai Daryanani, Yuanpu Cui, and Lucas Fluxa all within 1.4s of the front.

At the back, Chris Dittmann Racing’s drivers struggled to match the leading pace, with James Higgins – testing only – finishing 23rd ahead of teammates Nicolas Stati and Rodrigo Gonzalez.

Looking ahead to racing action

The field returns to the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit on Friday for two further test sessions before qualifying and the opening race on Saturday. With Ninovic holding the early advantage, the rest of the grid will be eager to close the gap before points are on offer.
