Juncos Hollinger Racing has announced that American driver Alexander Koreiba will make his Indy NXT by Firestone debut with the team in 2026, taking the wheel of the No. 75 entry as he embarks on his journey up the INDYCAR ladder.
From sports cars to open-wheel racing
The 28-year-old Missouri native arrives in open-wheel racing off the back of a strong sports car career, having claimed the 2024 HSR Prototype Challenge presented by IMSA championship and competed in the IMSA Prototype Challenge. Despite that success, Koreiba’s sights have long been set on a different destination — the top tier of North American motorsport.
“This is a dream come true, and to do it with an organisation of this calibre makes it even more meaningful,” said Koreiba. “I feel incredibly grateful and honoured to be joining Juncos Hollinger Racing for the 2026 INDY NXT season. I want to sincerely thank Ricardo Juncos, Brad Hollinger, and Dave O’Neill for their belief in me and for trusting me to pilot the No. 75 this season. I’m also deeply thankful to RF Health and all my partners who have helped make this programme possible. I can’t wait to get to work in St Pete.”
A driver built for the long climb
Koreiba first picked up a kart at the age of 14 before working his way through the Lucas Oil School of Racing and into professional prototype competition. Beyond his own driving, he has carved out a role as a mentor, coaching young drivers and engaging with motorsport enthusiasts across the country.
To prepare for the switch to open-wheel machinery, he participated in the Chris Griffis Memorial Test in both 2024 and 2025, using those outings to build familiarity with Indy NXT cars ahead of a full competitive campaign.
Team co-owner Ricardo Juncos expressed confidence in the signing. “Alexander brings a championship mindset and a relentless work ethic that aligns with our goals as an organisation,” he said. “As we continue building toward becoming a consistent front-runner, adding drivers who are hungry, prepared, and committed to the process is critical. We’re excited to see what he can accomplish in the No. 75 this season.”
RF Health, a company specialising in data-driven medical technology and digital healthcare innovation, will serve as the primary partner on the No. 75 entry. The organisation develops advanced med-tech solutions that draw on real-world data to improve patient outcomes and care delivery, and views the partnership with Juncos Hollinger Racing as a platform to spotlight its mission of driving meaningful progress in patient-centred care through scalable technology.
Koreiba heads to Miami this weekend to test at the Grand Prix circuit before the 2026 Indy NXT by Firestone season gets underway on the streets of St. Petersburg from 27 February to 1 March.
