Founded in 1983 by Angelo Rosin and Giorgio Piccolo, Prema Racing has established itself as a powerhouse in junior single-seater racing. They quickly made their mark in Italian F3, with future F1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve beginning his early career at Prema when he was signed in 1989.
Over the years, they have secured numerous championship wins in Italian F4, with drivers such as Lance Stroll and Freddie Slater making their mark. Moreover, Prema Racing has consistently been in contention for F2 titles, producing many F1 talents including Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri, and even their 2024 F2 drivers—Ollie Bearman and Kimi Antonelli—who have since progressed to Formula 1.
The team expanded into FRECA in 2019 with Frederik Vesti, where they immediately won both the Drivers’ and Teams’ Championships. Over the subsequent six years, Prema Racing has been dominant, losing the FRECA championship across both titles only once, in 2021.
For the 2025 season, Freddie Slater, Jack Beeton, Rashid Al Dhaheri, and Doriane Pin make up their FRECA lineup.
Freddie Slater (#27)
Seventeen-year-old Slater, from Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, has already achieved notable success across multiple categories. He claimed the FIA Karting European Championship in the OK-Junior category in 2021 before making the step into car racing in 2022. That year, he competed in the Ginetta Junior Championship and secured the Winter Series title. In 2023, he dominated the main Ginetta Junior Championship, claiming 13 wins, 15 podiums, 10 pole positions, and 5 fastest laps to take the title convincingly.
In 2024, Slater progressed to single-seaters, joining Prema Racing in the Italian F4 Championship, where he won 15 races en route to the title. He also contested the Formula 4 UAE Championship with Mumbai Falcons, securing the championship with 2 wins, 6 podiums, and 4 fastest laps.

For the 2025 season, Slater has joined Prema Racing in FRECA, while also making select appearances in FIA F3 and GB3. Although he faced a challenging start in Round 1 at Misano, he has since dominated the championship, amassing five wins to date. Specifically, his first victory came in Race 1 at Spa-Francorchamps, but Race 2 ended in disappointment as a collision forced both him and teammate Pin to retire.
Building on this momentum, Slater continued his strong form at Zandvoort, taking Race 1 and then following it with a P3 finish in Race 2. He subsequently added further wins at the Hungaroring and, most impressively, secured both race victories at Paul Ricard. As a result, his consistency and pace have propelled him to the top of the championship standings with 186 points, placing him 16 points ahead of his closest rival, Matteo De Palo.
Jack Beeton (#45)
Seventeen-year-old Beeton from the Gold Coast, Australia, began his motorsport journey at the age of seven in karting. He achieved a notable sixth-place finish in the KA4 Junior category of the Australian Karting Championship in 2022, setting the stage for a move into single-seaters.
In 2023, Beeton debuted in the F4 UAE Championship, before progressing to the Euro 4 and Italian F4 Championships. That year also saw him finish fourth in the Macau Grand Prix Formula 4 race and compete in the Formula 4 South Asia Championship, where he secured two wins and five podiums, ultimately taking the title with AGI Sport.
Beeton continued this ambitious program in 2024, racing across F4 UAE, the Formula Winter Series, Euro 4, and Italian F4. He amassed 16 podiums, three pole positions, and one victory, finishing runner-up in Italian F4, further solidifying his reputation as a rising talent in international single-seater racing.
The Australian joined Prema Racing for the 2025 FRECA season. Beeton scored points in both races for the first 2 rounds, but has since struggled over the last 4 to finish in the points. He currently sits in P14 with 22 points.
Rashid Al Dhaheri (#14)
Al Dhaheri’s motorsport journey began at just three years old, during a visit to the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2011, where he discovered his passion for racing. Two years later, in 2013, he had his first karting experience in the UAE and quickly began competing, making his debut at the Al Ain Raceway that October and finishing runner-up in the opening round of the UAE Championship. Since then, he has accumulated multiple victories, including five Dubai O Plate titles, the Macao International Kart Grand Prix, and multiple World Series of Karting championships.
In 2023, Al Dhaheri transitioned to single-seaters, joining Prema Racing for the Italian F4 Championship, where he finished 10th overall, highlighted by two fourth-place finishes. He continued his development in 2024, competing in the UAE F4 Championship, securing two wins and five podiums, ultimately finishing fourth in the standings.

In 2025, he began his maiden year in FRECA with Prema Racing. So far, he has enjoyed notable success in the championship, starting with a P3 finish in Race 1 at the Misano World Circuit. He then had a strong showing at Spa-Francorchamps, where he qualified on pole position, but was unfortunately hit in the race, causing him to spin out. At the Hungaroring, he earned P2 in Race 2, where Slater claimed victory, securing a Prema Racing 1-2. The following round at Paul Ricard, he again finished P2 in Race 2, further demonstrating his potential. However, Round 6 proved more challenging, as he finished out of the points in both races. Currently, Al Dhaheri sits in P8 with 75 points.
Doriane Pin (#28)
Doraine Pin began her motorsport career in endurance racing, making a breakthrough in 2022 by dominating the Ferrari Challenge Europe Series with 9 wins from 14 races, in addition to claiming victory at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. In 2023, she stepped up to the World Endurance Championship LMP2 category, handling the pressure with ease and earning the “Revelation of the Year” award, becoming the first woman to receive this honour.
Transitioning to single-seaters, Pin demonstrated her versatility by securing wins in both the F4 South East Asian Championship and the F4 UAE Championship, finishing second overall in the South East Asian series.
Pin has been a key competitor in the F1 Academy, racing in both the 2024 and 2025 seasons. In 2024, she finished runner-up to Abbi Pulling, with three victories and five additional podiums. She currently leads the 2025 F1 Academy Championship, while also making occasional appearances in FRECA with Prema Racing at Spa-Francorchamps and Paul Ricard, showcasing her talent across multiple racing disciplines.
