The second day of the inaugural 2026 GB4 Winter Series at Snetterton has faced delays following a power outage in the surrounding area. Organisers initially postponed Sunday’s on-track action, including Qualifying and the final two races of the weekend, before confirming a revised schedule.

The interruption disrupted the championship’s original timetable, which had scheduled Qualifying for 09:40 GMT, followed by Race 3 at 11:50 and Race 4 at 14:50.

Power restored as organisers announce revised timetable

At 09:30 GMT, organisers confirmed that a power outage in the Snetterton area had delayed on-track activities. Although the interruption created uncertainty surrounding the day’s remaining sessions, officials subsequently confirmed at 11:15 that power had returned.

Consequently, the championship has introduced a revised timetable, with Qualifying now scheduled to begin at 11:55 GMT.

The updated schedule for Sunday, 25 October, is as follows:

  • Qualifying: 11:55–12:15 GMT
  • Race 3: 13:25–13:45 GMT
  • Race 4: 15:10–15:30 GMT

GB4 Winter Series prepares for final two races

Despite the disruption, organisers intend to complete both remaining races on Sunday, allowing the inaugural GB4 Winter Series to conclude as planned.

The revised programme provides drivers and teams with a 20-minute Qualifying session before the first race of the afternoon.

With the championship title still undecided following Saturday’s opening two races, the final contests will determine the inaugural GB4 Winter Series champion.

Drivers will therefore return to the Snetterton circuit for Qualifying at 11:55 GMT, with Race 3 following at 13:25 GMT.
