Dörr Motorsport is gearing up for its third season in the DTM with renewed confidence, as it continues its partnership with McLaren and retains an experienced driver line-up for 2026. With Timo Glock and Ben Dörr once again behind the wheel of the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, the team is aiming to build on the progress made in previous campaigns.

Glock brings experience and determination to Dörr Motorsport for 2026 DTM season

Timo Glock returns for his second consecutive season with the team, bringing a wealth of experience from both Formula 1 and DTM competition. With 91 Grand Prix starts and multiple race wins in touring cars, the German driver remains a key asset.

Looking ahead, Glock is optimistic about the team’s development. He said: “The confidence and belief that we will take another step forward this year is what motivates me. My expectations are we are able to convert the progress we have made in the off-season into consistently good race weekends. I am particularly looking forward to the races in Hockenheim and Spielberg, as both tracks really suit me and I particularly like driving there.”

As he enters his twelfth DTM season, Glock will aim to translate that experience into consistent results.

Ben Dörr targets breakthrough results

Alongside him, Ben Dörr continues to develop as one of the promising young talents on the grid. The 21-year-old made headlines last season by securing McLaren’s first-ever DTM pole position at the Nürburgring.

Now, the McLaren GT3 Junior is focused on building momentum: “I expect us to consistently get good results and, over the course of the season, to enjoy one or two highlights. I am particularly driven by the desire for us to improve continuously, get faster all the time, and set our sights on challenging at the front in the coming season. I am most looking forward to the Nürburgring, as it went really well there last year.”

Team targets top-five consistency

Team owner Rainer Dörr has outlined clear objectives for the upcoming season, with a focus on consistency and podium contention. After carefully reviewing their first two DTM campaigns, the team has implemented significant changes across all areas.

“We want to consistently finish in the top five and, ideally, make it onto the podium together with McLaren,” said Rainer Dörr, laying out the objectives for the coming season. “We have meticulously analysed our findings from the first two years in the DTM, and have reorganised virtually every area. From strengthening the personnel in the team and further developing the car in fine detail, to extensive test programmes. Our test data gives us plenty of reason to be confident and shows that we have taken a big step forward.”
