Round 5 of the 2026 IndyCar season has been completed on the Streets of Long Beach, view the full race results here.
Felix Rosenqvist started on pole position ahead of Pato O’Ward and Alex Palou. Heading into the race, Kyle Kirkwood led the championship by two points ahead of Palou. The Andretti driver started on the second row, beside the reigning champion.
On the race start, Rosenqvist maintained his lead. Palou managed to overtake O’Ward for second position. A caution on Lap 58 saw Palou take the lead from Rosenqvist in the pits.
Palou won the race ahead of Rosenqvist and Scott Dixon, both of whom scored their first podiums of the season.
