Race-winning driver Enzo Hallman has joined Hillspeed for the 2026 GB4 Championship, with his sights firmly set on a title challenge. As a result, Hallman becomes the 26th confirmed driver on the grid, pushing this year’s entry beyond the record levels seen in 2025. Moreover, his arrival completes Hillspeed’s three-car line-up ahead of what promises to be an ultra-competitive season.

Building on a strong rookie campaign

Hallman returns to GB4 following a promising debut season in 2025. He finished ninth in the overall standings, securing a race victory at Oulton Park alongside two additional podium finishes.

Importantly, he demonstrated consistent progress throughout the year. He claimed his first podium early in the season at Donington Park before converting that momentum into further success later in the campaign.

A proven track record

Before his GB4 debut, Hallman built an impressive résumé across multiple categories. He began karting in 2018 and achieved a major milestone in 2021 by winning the Swedish Junior 125 Karting Championship.

In the same year, he expanded onto the international stage, competing in events such as the Andrea Margutti Trophy and the IAME Warriors Final.

Subsequently, he transitioned into car racing in 2023, competing in the NXT Gen Cup, the world’s first electric junior touring car series. He finished fourth in the standings with six podiums, before improving to third overall in 2024 with nine podium finishes.

Alongside his touring car efforts, Hallman made his single-seater debut in Formula Nordic in 2024. Despite missing the opening round, he secured the Vice-Champion title as a privateer, claiming one overall win and multiple podium finishes. Furthermore, he earned recognition by winning the Ronnie Peterson Memorial Fund Scholarship in early 2025, which helped propel him into GB4.

Now entering his second season in GB4, Hallman aims to build on his experience and fight at the front consistently.

“I am thrilled to be back in GB4 for a second season and to team-up with Hillspeed for our first campaign together. It was clear from our very first conversations that we share the same mentality about racing, and the same objective – to fight for the championship. The team has made me feel immediately at home, and testing has been encouraging so far. I look forward to working closely with the team over the coming weeks to get ourselves properly up to speed for the start of the season.”

Hillspeed’s confidence in its line-up

Team principal Richard Ollerenshaw expressed strong confidence in Hallman and the overall driver line-up.

“We’re exceptionally happy to have completed our capacity three-car line-up for the new GB4 season, and particularly with a young driver like Enzo who showed a huge amount of promise in the series last year. We kept a keen eye on his progress and we’re now delighted to have signed him up as a Hillspeed driver for his second season in the championship.

“With Enzo confirmed at the team we really do have a fantastic line-up and I’m confident he, Connor [Willis] and Demitri [Nolan] will work well together and push each other on. It’s been a good winter in terms of testing, now we’re ready for the serious stuff to begin when the season starts in April.”

As the 2026 GB4 season approaches, Hallman emerges as one of the leading contenders. With a year of experience behind him and a competitive team around him, he appears well-positioned to challenge for top honours.

If he can maintain his upward trajectory, Hallman could play a major role in what is shaping up to be one of the most competitive GB4 seasons to date.
