Formula E returns to action with FP3 for Round 10 at the Monaco E-Prix.
Race 1 of the delivered a long-awaited win for Nyck de Vries and Mahindra Racing. Starting on the front row, the Dutchman executed a perfect strategy to take victory on the streets of the Principality. Mitch Evans secured a podium and is back on top of the driver’s championship. Pepe Martí joined them on the podium for the first time in his Formula E career, after a post-race penalty against teammate Dan Ticktum.
15 minutes into the session, every driver went out on track with Felipe Drugovich leading the timesheet with 1:27,203. With 20 minutes remaining, Lucas di Grassi was the first driver running wide into Turn 1 but was able to continue the session.
After the drivers returned to the track following a brief stint in the pits, Nyck de Vries climbed to the top of the timesheets. However, Eduardo Mortara went fastest shortly after, securing a 1-2 for Mahindra Racing.
With 2 minutes remaining, Jake Dennis went into the run-off area at Turn 1, with Sebastian Buemi following him. With the checked flag out, Nico Müller found himself fastest of the session, followed by Eduardo Mortara and Maximilian Günther.
