The third Sprint of the 2026 F1 season has been completed at the Canadian GP, view the full championship standings after it.
George Russell started the Sprint on pole position ahead of Mercedes teammate Kimi Antonelli. No matter what happened in the shorter race, the Italian would maintain the title lead.
Behind them, other teammates were also very close together. Norris and Piastri were on the second row for McLaren, the Ferraris on the third one, and the Red Bull duo on the fourth row.
Racing Bulls driver Arvid Lindblad was best of the rest, finishing an impressive 0.8s clear of Carlos Sainz in SQ3. The Spaniard did a fine job in SQ2 to make it through.
