Team WRT has unveiled a distinctive new look for its No. 32 BMW M4 GT3 EVO ahead of the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Belgian squad revealed the special design on Wednesday, combining elements of the car’s established race colours with fresh visual themes inspired by FIA World Endurance Championship driver Darren Leung’s company, Paradine.
The new livery will make its competitive debut at the French endurance classic, where Leung, Augusto Farfus and Sean Gelael will once again join forces in the LMGT3 category.
A design inspired by progress
The updated livery blends the familiar identity of the No. 32 BMW with a series of new colour tones that symbolise growth and future ambition. According to Team WRT, the design reflects both the team’s current achievements and its desire to continue pushing forward.
Leung explained the thinking behind the concept and its connection to Paradine’s philosophy.
“We are not ultimately concerned with staying where we are, it is always about where we want to be. It is thriving. It is the tendency of living things to strive toward a better state.”
As a result, the livery carries a deeper message than a simple cosmetic change. Instead, it serves as a visual representation of continuous development and long-term aspirations.
BMW Team WRT continues its creative 2026 Le Mans approach
The No. 32 entry is not the only BMW attracting attention ahead of Le Mans. WRT’s sister No. 69 BMW will also feature a special design during the race weekend.
That car adopts a retro-inspired appearance that pays tribute to the BMW-powered Gulf-sponsored McLaren F1 GTR. The design forms part of driver Anthony McIntosh’s season-long programme of rotating throwback liveries across the eight-round FIA World Endurance Championship campaign.
Consequently, both BMW LMGT3 entries will arrive at Circuit de la Sarthe with eye-catching designs that celebrate different aspects of motorsport heritage and innovation.
Familiar crew returns to Le Mans
Beyond the new livery, WRT enters Le Mans with a driver line-up that already has a proven record at the event.
Leung, Farfus and Gelael will reunite for the endurance classic after securing a runner-up finish in class in 2024. Their strong performance two years ago demonstrated both pace and consistency across the demanding 24-hour contest.
Furthermore, Leung will make his third appearance at Le Mans, bringing valuable experience to a team aiming to challenge for top honours in the LMGT3 category.
Eyes on success at Circuit de la Sarthe
While the special livery will undoubtedly attract attention throughout race week, WRT’s primary objective remains competitive success. The combination of an experienced driver line-up, proven machinery and renewed confidence gives the team every reason to believe it can contend at the front of the LMGT3 field.
As anticipation builds for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the No. 32 BMW M4 GT3 EVO will carry more than a fresh coat of paint. It will also carry a message of ambition, progress and the pursuit of greater achievements on one of motorsport’s biggest stages.
