The championship arrived in Great Britain following an eventful second round in Montreal. Alisha Palmowski held the advantage at the top of the standings on 78 points, 25 clear of Emma Felbermayr. Megan Bruce occupied third place with 37 points,

Silverstone marks a new challenge for the field, with F1 Academy competing at the British circuit for the first time. Its fast corners, rapid changes of direction and unpredictable conditions gave the drivers plenty to learn during the sole practice session before qualifying.

Chiara Bättig joined the grid as the Wild Card entry for the weekend, driving the #6 Wella Professionals car.

With dry and sunny conditions around the SIlverstone circuit the session was ready to go green. The early stages saw Esme Kosterman stop on track causing a short yellow flag, as the grid worked to build confidence around the 5.891-kilometre circuit.

Ella Lloyd set the initial benchmark before Nina Gademan moved to the top of the order with around 20 minutes left on the clock. Wild Card entry Bättig showed her speed as she moved up to P1 with a lap time of 2:02.881. Improvements continued as the track evolved, with multiple drivers like Bättig, Gademan, Felbermayr and Palmowski all featuring near the front during the closing stages.

A lap of 2:02.640 ultimately placed Wild Card entry Chiara Bättig at the head of the standings, 0.208 seconds ahead of Alisha Palmowski. Nina Gademan completed the top three.
