Mercedes-backed Payton Westcott claimed her maiden F1 Academy win in the Reverse Grid Race at the 2026 Dutch GP, view the full results below.

The Qualifying session earlier today brought mixed weather conditions, beginning with a wet track before rapidly drying out and forcing drivers to switch to slick tyres for their final runs. Ultimately, championship leader Alisha Palmowski stormed to pole position once again.

Wild Card entrant Zoe Florescu was set to start on the front row for the Reverse Grid Race; however, she was later disqualified from the session for failing to meet the fuel requirements. At lights out, Mercedes-backed Payton Westcott led the pack down to Turn 1, while Megan Bruce and Nina Gademan slotted in behind. However, stalling off the line, Palmowksi was left stranded and quickly fell down the order.

A mistake from Natalia Granada on Lap 2 saw the Sephora-backed driver end up in the barriers, bringing out the safety car. At the restart, Emma Felbermayr and Alba Larsen overtook Bruce for P4 and P5, respectively, as the TAG Heuer driver continued to fall down the order.

With strong race pace, Larsen’s confidence shone through as she chased down Gademan for second. On Lap 9, Jade Jacquet came to a stop, bringing out the second safety car of the race. At the restart, close battles unfolded across the field as drivers jostled for position. However, out in front, Westcott and Larsen continued to pull away from the rest of the field.

The stewards handed Felbermayr a five-second time penalty for causing a collision. Having controlled the race from lights-to-flag, Westcott crossed the line to claim her maiden F1 Academy victory, as Larsen and Gademan completed the podium.
