2026 F3 Italian GP | Feature Race results

Nicola Lacorte claimed a dramatic home victory in the 2026 Monza F3 Feature Race at the Italian GP, becoming the 13th different winner of the season and setting a new championship record.

Polesitter Freddie Slater led the opening laps for TRIDENT, while title rival Ugo Ugochukwu endured immediate trouble after contact with Campos Racing teammate Théophile Naël sent him spinning to P29. A collision between Fionn McLaughlin and Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi then triggered the first Safety Car.

Kanato Le attacked Slater after the restart and seized the lead at Turn 1 on Lap 6. However, the order continued to change rapidly. Taito Kato, Lacorte and Tuukka Taponen all joined the fight, with Lacorte eventually taking control on Lap 10 before Taponen briefly moved ahead.

Behind them, Slater suddenly dropped through the field before losing his right-rear wheel and retiring on Lap 13. Ernesto Rivera also stopped on track, bringing out another Safety Car and dramatically changing the championship picture.

Lacorte led Taponen and Kato when racing resumed on Lap 17. Further back, Ugochukwu produced an impressive recovery through the field, climbing from P29 into the points, while Yevan David continued his strong Monza weekend by moving into the top six.

The final laps brought more position changes as Le passed Hiyu Yamakoshi and David continued to advance. On the last lap, Ugochukwu passed Mattia Colnaghi for eighth, securing valuable points after his early spin.

At the front, Lacorte held firm to take a memorable home win for DAMS Lucas Oil. Taponen finished second for MP Motorsport, while Kato completed the podium for ART Grand Prix. David snatched fourth at the final corner, ahead of Le and Yamakoshi, with Noah Strømsted seventh and Ugochukwu eighth. Enzo Deligny and James Wharton completed the points-paying top 10 behind him.
