LN4 Fusion has completed its driver line-up for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 (F3) Championship, confirming Dion Gowda will join the team alongside James Egozi and Gabriel Gomez next season.

The 18-year-old Indian driver will make the step up to FIA F3 after spending the past two seasons competing in the Formula Regional European Championship (FREC), where he gained valuable experience against an international field.

Before making the move to Formula Regional, Gowda began his single-seater career in 2023 with the British Formula 4 Championship. He enjoyed an impressive debut campaign, finishing fourth in the Drivers’ Championship after securing four race victories and six podium finishes.

As a result of his strong performances in British F4, Gowda established himself as a competitive prospect in the junior single-seater ranks before progressing to Formula Regional competition.

Over the following two seasons, he continued his development in FREC, competing against a competitive field of emerging drivers. During this period, the Indian driver recorded several points finishes, while his performances in 2026 further highlighted his potential to progress to the next level.

Consequently, Gowda will bring valuable Formula Regional experience into his first FIA F3 campaign, as he joins LN4 Fusion to complete the team’s line-up ahead of the 2027 season.

Looking ahead to Gowda’s maiden F3 season

Gowda expressed his delight at securing the opportunity to compete in FIA Formula 3.

“I’m really excited to be joining LN4 Fusion for the FIA Formula 3 Championship next year,” said Gowda. “Racing in FIA F3 is a dream come true and I’m really grateful for the opportunity. There are amazing people in this team, and I can’t wait to get started!”

LN4 Fusion Chief Executive Officer Dan Richards welcomed Gowda to the team, pointing to the speed he demonstrated during his latest Formula Regional campaign and his potential for further development.

“We are delighted to welcome Dion to LN4 Fusion, and we are very happy to be working with him. He showed promising speed in Formula Regional this season, regularly running in the top 10. We believe there is plenty of room for him to keep growing as a competitor, and on top of that he is a great person to work with. Everyone in the team is looking forward to starting this new journey together.”
