Track’s history

The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in 1959 stretches 4.3km long . It is situated over 2,200 meters above sea level with its high altitude presenting a unique challenge for drivers. The iconic Estadio stadium section sends drivers into view of more than 60,000 spectators. The Peraltada corner ends each lap with a long, high-speed,180-degree right-handler. A thrilling watch for spectators and a challenging drive for the drivers.

Only three drivers on the current grid have stood on the top of the podium in Mexico thus far. Four time world champion Max Verstappen and Seven time world Champion Lewis Hamilton are the obvious on that list. Carlos Sainz joined the list after his pole-to-flag victory in 2024. His last victory with Ferrari before moving to Williams Racing.
