Tim Tramnitz claimed victory in a dramatic 2025 F3 Sprint Race at Imola, leading an MP Motorsport 1–2 finish ahead of teammate Bruno Del Pino. Del Pino led early from reverse grid pole but came under pressure from Tramnitz, who made a decisive move and defended his lead through two Safety Car restarts to seal the win.
The race began with immediate drama as Domingues spun and Van Hoepen ran wide. Marinangeli lost a wheel at Tosa, prompting the first Safety Car. Later, Boya retired from third with a mechanical issue before Zagazeta went off, triggering a second caution.
When racing resumed, Del Pino closed the gap, but Tramnitz held firm. Tsolov kept his cool under pressure to secure third. Sharp and Bilinski took fourth and fifth for Rodin Motorsport, while Strømsted climbed to sixth after a late move on Taponen. Ugochukwu slipped to eighth, while León and Giusti completed the top ten. Voisin received a ten-second penalty for forcing another driver off track.
Tramnitz earned 10 points, bringing his total to 40—now 16 behind championship leader Rafael Câmara, who failed to score. Strømsted remains third with 33 points, two ahead of Tsolov on 31 after his podium. Taponen’s four points move him to 24, four clear of Stenshorne. Bilinski’s six points lift him to 16 and tenth overall. Giusti added one point to tie on 11 with Del Pino, whose nine-point haul boosts him to P12. Sharp, with seven points from P4, opened his 2025 championship account.
