Monza provided a fitting finale to the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season. The Italian circuit, renowned for its high speeds and slipstream battles, became the stage on which Campos Racing overturned the odds and secured the 2025 F3 Teams’ Championship. The Spanish outfit achieved a dominant one-two finish in the 2025 Monza F3 Feature Race at the Italian GP, with Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak claiming victory and Nikola Tsolov finishing second. That result allowed Campos to surpass Trident, who had entered their home race in control of the standings. Rafael Câmara, already crowned Drivers’ Champion in Budapest, charged from the back of the field to finish fifth and signed off his campaign with yet another demonstration of speed and composure.

Drivers’ Championship

Rafael Câmara concluded the season as Drivers’ Champion with 166 points. His title had been secured in Hungary, but his performance at Monza reinforced his dominance. Nikola Tsolov produced one of his best drives of the year to finish second in the Feature Race and secure second place in the final standings with 124 points. His team-mate Mari Boya could only manage ninth and therefore slipped to third overall on 116 points.

Tim Tramnitz finished the season in fourth with 94 points after a tenth-place finish in the Feature Race. Martinius Stenshorne ended his rookie campaign in fifth on 89 points, having shown flashes of pace but lacking the consistency to break into the top four. Sixth place belonged to Noah Strømsted, who finished the year with 84 points and a reputation for calm and assured racing.

Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak transformed his campaign with a breakthrough victory in the Feature Race. That win elevated him to seventh overall on 74 points, a remarkable climb from the midfield. Théophile Naël ended eighth with 72 points after a solid and steady season. Tuukka Taponen and Alessandro Giusti completed the top ten, tied on 67 points, each having delivered flashes of speed but without converting them into consistent podiums.

Further down the order, Roman Bilinski rose to eleventh with 65 points after combining his Sprint Race victory with further Feature Race points. Laurens Van Hoepen finished twelfth on 60 points, while Ugo Ugochukwu fell to sixteenth with 43 points after a disastrous Monza double retirement. Noel León enjoyed his strongest weekend of the year, taking third in the Feature Race and climbing to seventeenth with 36 points. Brad Benavides ended his season in twentieth with 18 points, having secured his best results in the finale.

Campos Racing triumphed in the 2025 F3 Teams’ Championship with 314 points, marking a landmark achievement for the Spanish squad. The team delivered a fine  F3 collective performance at the Italian GP, with Inthraphuvasak’s victory and Tsolov’s second place in the Feature Race ensuring maximum returns in the decisive contest. Trident, who had led the standings for much of the year, finished second with 303 points. Their strength across Feature Races had defined their campaign, but Monza did not deliver the clean execution they required.

MP Motorsport completed the season in third with 177 points, producing consistent results without truly challenging the two leaders. ART Grand Prix followed in fourth on 152 points, their tally reflecting a season that promised more than it delivered. Van Amersfoort Racing closed in fifth with 138 points, marking progress but still lacking the consistency to fight for podiums every weekend.

Rodin Motorsport secured sixth with 128 points after a season defined by flashes of potential. Prema Racing endured a difficult year and finished only seventh on 92 points, while Hitech TGR closed eighth with 90 points. AIX Racing collected 52 points and placed ninth, while DAMS Lucas Oil concluded the championship in tenth with 30 points.

Campos Racing steals the spotlight in thrilling Monza finale

The 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship ended with Rafael Câmara confirmed as the undisputed Drivers’ Champion. Nikola Tsolov secured second place, while Mari Boya had to settle for third. The decisive story, however, came from Campos Racing. The Spanish team overcame Trident in the final round to lift its first Teams’ title, achieved through a masterclass in composure and execution when the pressure was at its highest. Trident could not convert their season-long control into ultimate victory, while Campos proved that Monza’s volatility rewards those who seize the moment. The season concluded with a new champion team, a dominant individual champion, and the promise of further rivalries to come.
