JHR Developments’ Bart Harrison marked his maiden 2025 GB3 Championship weekend with a podium finish in Race 3 that underscored both pace and promise. The JHR Developments newcomer impressed from the outset at Donington Park, adapting quickly to the car’s demands and showing maturity beyond his experience.
Reflecting on the achievement, he said, “Yeah, yeah. I’m happy with the pace, obviously. I think we got fastest lap, so that’s a good thing. I want to be on the podium in the actual races, to be honest, but yeah, I mean, we all have to start pushing somewhere, so we’ll see.”
His honesty revealed both satisfaction and hunger for more. While pleased with the early success, Harrison clearly sees it as the beginning rather than the destination. Indeed, his blend of self-belief and determination aligns perfectly with JHR Developments’ ethos of nurturing young talent.
Learning and progressing
Harrison’s progress across the weekend demonstrated steady improvement. Each session brought more confidence, and by the final race, he was competing at the sharp end of the grid. For a driver making his first GB3 appearance, such adaptation speaks volumes. His readiness to analyse his own performance and identify areas for growth reflects the mindset of a future frontrunner.
Having already impressed in F4 and the Formula Winter Series, Harrison’s seamless transition to GB3 continues his trajectory through the junior ranks. Although his focus remains on development, the combination of raw pace and rapid learning suggests he is more than capable of delivering results.
Looking ahead to Monza
The 18-year-old will remain with JHR Developments for the season finale at Monza later this month. Excitement and determination were clear in his words: “Yeah, I will be doing Monza. I look forward to it. I think we’ve been getting better throughout the weekend, so we need to take on some more steps and move forward and come together.”
As he turns his attention to the legendary Italian circuit, Harrison aims to build on his Donington experience and convert lessons learned into stronger results. With growing momentum and a team fully behind him, his GB3 story is only just beginning. If his debut is any indication, Monza may yet deliver another chapter of progress—and perhaps another podium.
