G4 Racing has further strengthened its commitment to the Formula Regional Middle East (FRME) Trophy or FRMET by confirming Andrea Dupé and Artem Severiukhin as drivers for the 2026 season. Together with previously announced Jules Roussel, the team now fields a complete and well-balanced three-driver line-up for the debut year of the new-generation Formula Regional car.

As a result, G4 Racing enters the 2026 campaign with a clear focus on performance, continuity and long-term driver development.

A new era with the Formula Regional Gen2 car

The 2026 FRME Trophy season marks the introduction of the new-generation Formula Regional car, the Tatuus T326. Consequently, the championship offers a reset in technical regulations and performance parameters. This change places greater emphasis on adaptability, technical feedback and fundamental driving skills.

In this context, G4 Racing has deliberately selected drivers who combine proven results with the capacity to grow alongside the new platform. Therefore, the finalised line-up reflects both immediate competitiveness and future potential.

Andrea Dupé: Returning to G4 Racing with Formula Regional ambitions

Andrea Dupé’s confirmation represents a significant moment for both driver and team. Not only does he step into Formula Regional competition for the first time, but he also returns to G4 Racing, where he previously competed in the Kids to Win karting programme during his formative years.

Since then, Dupé has progressed methodically through elite karting and into single-seater racing. He secured vice-champion honours in the 2023 Italian ACI Karting Championship in the OK category, competing against some of the strongest young talents in Europe. Moreover, he raced for leading karting organisations before transitioning to Formula 4.

Although a knee injury disrupted much of his 2024 season, Dupé responded with determination and resilience. He returned to international competition, qualified for major championship finals and subsequently advanced into Formula 4 machinery. During the 2025 season, he gained valuable experience in the Formula Winter Series and the Italian F4 Championship, where he continued to refine his racecraft and technical understanding.

Therefore, G4 Racing considers Dupé well prepared for the demands of Formula Regional racing. Speaking about his return, Dupé stated: “I’m very happy and excited to join the team for the Middle East Championship. We will give everything to achieve great results.”

Artem Severiukhin joins as third driver for FRME 2026

Alongside Dupé, G4 Racing has confirmed Artem Severiukhin as its third driver for the 2026 FRME Trophy project. Severiukhin joins the team as a highly motivated prospect with strong development potential and a results-driven mindset.

Importantly, he arrives with a solid competitive background. He finished as vice-champion in the 2025 SMP F4 Championship, demonstrating consistency, speed and race intelligence across the season. Furthermore, he achieved multiple podium finishes in international karting, including second place in the 2019 WSK Super Master Series and the 2019 WSK Open Cup. In addition, he claimed victory at round one of the 2022 Champions of the Future series in Portugal.

As a result, Severiukhin brings both experience and momentum into the Formula Regional environment. Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I’m happy to be part of G4 Racing in FRMET. G4 Racing is a professional team with top-level specialists, and I believe we will achieve the best results together in this championship.”

Team confidence in a balanced driver roster

From a team perspective, G4 Racing Sporting and Technical Manager Adrián Muñoz emphasised the importance of constructing a cohesive and complementary driver line-up.

Reflecting on Dupé’s progression, Muñoz explained: “Andrea is our second driver announcement for the FRMET project. We have been monitoring him throughout the 2025 F4 season and confirmed his potential during private testing, where he showed clear progress and maturity as a driver. Together, we will continue his development as he takes his first step into Formula Regional with the F3R.”

Meanwhile, discussing Severiukhin’s addition, Muñoz added: “Artem is our third driver for the FRMET project. He is an interesting talent with great development potential, ready to work hard to show his class and skills. We consider our FRMET driver line-up to be very well balanced, and I am confident it will play an important role in the development of the new Tatuus T326.”

Building towards FRME Trophy 2026

With Jules Roussel, Andrea Dupé and Artem Severiukhin confirmed, G4 Racing now turns its full attention to preparation for the FRME Trophy 2026 season. Each driver contributes a distinct profile, while all three share a commitment to learning, performance and technical growth.

Consequently, the team approaches the new Formula Regional era with confidence. By combining young talent, structured development and technical excellence, G4 Racing aims to play a competitive and influential role throughout the championship’s inaugural season with the new-generation car.
