Dino Beganovic claimed his first F2 pole position at the 2025 Imola GP, while Sebastián Montoya and Victor Martins completed the top three in a Qualifying session cut short by a red flag. However, the Feature Race quickly turned dramatic as Montoya stalled on the formation lap, forcing a pit lane start.

At lights out, Beganovic led cleanly while Martins also stalled, opening the door for Arvid Lindblad and Alex Dunne to move forward. Dunne, who started further back, steadily climbed the order, capitalising on early pit strategies and an effective Safety Car restart to put himself in contention for the win.

With sharp overtakes on Stanek, Martí and ultimately Dürksen, Dunne took control of the race and never looked back, crossing the line to secure his second win of the 2025 season. Luke Browning followed in second, while Beganovic claimed the final podium spot, giving Hitech a double podium finish. Arvid Lindblad and Leonardo Fornaroli completed the top five. Montoya’s recovery to eighth after starting from the pit lane was a standout drive, capping off an action-packed Feature Race and cementing Dunne’s status as one of the season’s title contenders.
