Martinius Stenshorne delivered a flawless performance to claim his first Sprint Race victory of the 2025 FIA F3 season on the streets of Monaco. The Hitech TGR driver reacted swiftly off the line, immediately capitalising on Alessandro Giusti’s sluggish getaway to snatch the lead into Turn 1. From that point onward, he never looked back.

Meanwhile, ART Grand Prix teammates Tuukka Taponen and Laurens van Hoepen kept the pressure on throughout, ultimately securing a well-earned double podium for the French outfit. Despite his poor start, Giusti regrouped and finished fourth, just ahead of his MP Motorsport teammate Tim Tramnitz.

The opening lap delivered immediate drama. James Hedley and Ivan Domingues collided before Portier, bringing out the Safety Car. Simultaneously, separate incidents eliminated Nicola Lacorte and Noel León, the latter retiring after contact with championship leader Rafael Câmara—who had already received a three-place grid drop for ignoring the red flag delta on Friday.

Racing resumed on Lap 7. Stenshorne quickly pulled away, briefly shaking Taponen out of DRS range. Although midfield contact—such as between Callum Voisin and Mari Boya—raised tension, most escaped without major damage. However, Noah Strømsted suffered a puncture after clashing with Brad Benavides, plummeting to 24th and losing vital points in the title race.

Nonetheless, excitement returned when Gerrard Xie executed a rare overtake on Nicola Marinangeli into Sainte Devote. Further back, Benavides and Joseph Sharp made late moves, with the latter climbing to ninth and scoring for Rodin.

In the end, Stenshorne not only claimed victory but also set the fastest lap, collecting 11 points in total. Although Câmara salvaged seventh, his once-comfortable lead now faces mounting pressure as the championship battle intensifies.
