The 2025 FIA F3 season is proving to be a fruitful campaign for Williams Driver Academy member Alessandro Giusti. The French rookie has made a promising first impression with MP Motorsport, showing steady improvement with each passing round. Most notably, he recently celebrated his maiden podium in the championship, a sign of both progress and potential.

Foundations of a racing career

Giusti began his single-seater journey in 2021 with French F4. During his rookie season, he claimed two race victories and returned the following year to take the championship title. A stint in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) followed, before he made the step up to FIA Formula 3 with MP Motorsport for the 2025 season—his first in the Formula 1-supporting feeder ladder.

Challenging beginnings

Despite his promise, the start of Giusti’s F3 campaign was not without setbacks. In the opening Feature Race at Melbourne, contact with Matías Zagazeta forced him to retire, leaving him without points. Early difficulties continued to affect his results, as he searched for rhythm and consistency in a highly competitive field.

Breakthrough performances and consistency

Giusti’s fortunes began to turn at the second round in Bahrain, where he scored his first points in the Sprint Race. That performance also marked a milestone for MP Motorsport, with all three of their drivers—Giusti, Tim Tramnitz, and Emerson Fittipaldi Jr—scoring points in the same race.

Since then, Giusti has consistently finished in the top ten, demonstrating solid racecraft and maturity in the 2025 F3 season. The peak of his season so far came in Barcelona, where he secured a podium finish in the Feature Race. Starting from sixth on the grid, he made decisive overtakes in the closing stages of a chaotic, incident-filled race to climb into third place. That result propelled him to sixth in the championship standings and second among MP’s drivers, trailing only Tramnitz.

A positive trajectory

Throughout the 2025 F3 season, Giusti has impressed with his ability to stay clear of incidents and maintain composure under pressure. His performances reflect not only raw talent but also a growing understanding of the demands of FIA Formula 3. He has embraced consistency and shown the potential for greater achievements.

There is still room for growth, but the season so far has undoubtedly been a step in the right direction. If Giusti continues on his current trajectory, he could soon become a regular contender for podiums—and possibly more—as he gains further experience in the second half of the year.
