Keanu Al Azhari completed a clean sweep of the Silverstone qualifying sessions by taking his second consecutive pole position in Qualifying 2 of the 2026 Eurocup-3 Silverstone Round.
The Hitech GP driver produced a late improvement to set a 1:50.432, moving from deep in the order to the top of the timesheets in the closing stages.
Al Azhari had been as low as 28th with three minutes remaining, but found a significant improvement on his final run.
The Emirati driver set the fastest first and second sectors before combining them with a personal best in the final sector to jump to the top of the order.
His 1:50.432 was enough to beat Gianmarco Pradel by 0.315 seconds, with the MP Motorsport driver recovering strongly after qualifying eighth in Q1.
Ean Eyckmans completed the top three, while championship leader James Egozi once again qualified fourth.
Patrick Heuzenroeder continued his consistent qualifying performance with fifth, matching his Q1 result. Heitor Dall’Agnol was sixth, while Enzo Tarnvanichkul moved into seventh for Campos.
René Lammers, who had qualified third for Race 1, dropped to eighth, with Santino Panetta and Bart Harrison completing the top ten.
The session was particularly difficult for several drivers, with Valentin Kluss and Benjamin Beckley failing to set representative times after all of their laps were deleted for exceeding track limits.
James Hedley, who had topped part of the earlier running at Silverstone, could only manage 24th.
The result gave Al Azhari pole for both races at the British circuit, putting him in the strongest possible position for what would be the championship’s first visit to Silverstone.
Pradel’s second-place starting position also gave MP Motorsport a strong opportunity to challenge for victory, while Egozi again faced a recovery drive from fourth on the grid.
