2026 F2 Barcelona-Catalunya GP | Qualifying results

The fifth Qualifying session of the 2026 F2 season in Barcelona brought yet another dominant session from Invicta Racing’s Rafael Câmara who stormed to pole position once again, full results below.

After setting the pace in Free Practice, Trident’s Laurens van Hoepen looked to replicate his performance and target a second pole position of the season. As drivers headed out of the pits for their exploratory laps, track temperatures had significantly changed since the Free Practice session earlier this morning. First across the line, Gabriele Minì set the benchmark with a 1:25.652.

Fresh off his FP1 outing, Colton Herta was the next driver to replace the Italian at the top of the timings, going almost three tenths faster with a 1:25.387. As the session continued to unfold, lap time deletions began to come through, with Alex Dunne among the first to be affected.

With 15 minutes left on the clock, Herta, Joshua Dürksen, Ritomo Miyata and van Hoepen completed the top five. Lighting up the timings with three purple sectors, however, Rafael Câmara went to the top with a 1:24.810. Improving on his next lap, Nikola Tsolov slotted into P2 behind the Invicta driver with a 1:25.222.

As drivers headed out on their final laps of the session, everyone continued to find ample improvement. Dunne’s next lap, after his lap time was deleted, was enough to take him into the top three. However, exiting the final corner, Miyata ran straight on and crashed into the barriers, deploying a red flag.

While the majority of the field opted to remain in the pits, drivers who attempted a final effort were not improving. Once again, claiming a second consecutive pole position, Câmara topped the Qualifying session.
