Kush Maini claimed victory in the 2026 F2 Barcelona Sprint Race, with the full results available below.

Noel León started from pole position, alongside Kush Maini in P2 and Colton Herta in P3. Maini made a strong launch off the line and took the lead before Turn 1, while Nikola Tsolov also capitalised on the opening laps, moving up to second by Lap 3.

Further back, contact between Martinius Stenshorne and Joshua Dürksen on the opening lap resulted in Stenshorne receiving a 10-second time penalty.

At the front, Maini quickly established control of the race and had built a lead of more than four seconds over Tsolov by Lap 8.

After falling down the order earlier in the race, Herta began to recover, overtaking León for fifth place as he worked his way back through the field.

Villagómez received a 5-second penalty for track limits, with Bilinski also receiving a 5-second time penalty for track limits. They both received another 5-second penalty each for going over the track limits over 5 times.

Minì and Tsolov began batting back and forth for P2, with Herta also catching up to the drivers for the podium positions. Maini was over 6 seconds clear of Tsolov in P2, establishing his strong pace out front.

Throughout the battle, Minì moved to P2, with Herta also making a move on the Bulgarian for P3.

Herta was set for a podium, but he lost the podium place on the last lap after locking up and running wide.

At the conclusion of the race, Maini claimed the F2 Barcelona Sprint victory with over a 7 second gap, with Minì and Tsolov rounding out the podium.
