The second Qualifying session of the season at the 2026 F3 Monaco GP delivered yet another closely contested fight, full results below.

During Free Practice on Thursday, Campos Racing’s Théophile Naël led the way. However, heading out on track first were the even-numbered cars. As the session got underway, Ugo Ugochukwu was the first driver to cross the line with a representative time.

As the session continued, drivers continued to find significant improvements. However, several drivers, including Ugochukwu, Brando Badoer and Tuukka Taponen, emerged as the main contenders in the fight for pole. Having found a tenth over Ugochukwu, Badoer went to the top of the timing with a 1:25.287. Chasing further improvements, Taponen replaced the Italian at the top with a 1:25.242.

After taking the chequered flag, Taponen was on provisional pole in Group A, with Ugochukwu and Badoer expected to challenge the Finnish driver. However, with a blistering middle sector, it was Badoer who emerged on top in Group A.

The time for Group B to chase was 1:24.612. After several preparation laps, Naël was the first driver across the line with a representative time of a 1:25.729. Purple through the last sector, Freddie Slater was the next driver to find his way to the top with a 1:24.986. As it stood, one and a half tenths separated the top four. Lighting up the timings with three purple sectors, Naël found four-tenths between himself and Slater, who sat in second, with a 1:24.522. However, with another impressive final effort, the Frenchman claimed overall pole with a significant margin over his competitors.

Several drivers will be investigated after the session for incidents such as impeding and unsafe releases. However, as it stands, this will be the grid for Sunday’s Feature Race.
