The 2026 Formula E grid returns on track for FP2, who will be on top today in Shanghai? View the full results here.
Championship leader Mitch Evans didn’t appear as comfortable as he would have wished during the previous FP1 session.
In fact, the pouring Chinese rain hindered the performance of more than one talented driver, with several multiple times E-Prix winners spinning out. Amidst weather concerns, the entire weekend schedule changed, so as to try and avoid the worst of the major precipitations foreseen.
Oliver Rowland had to sit out most of FP1 due to technical issues, which severely affected his track feeling while on his out lap. The situation is definitely not the one the second placed driver in the standings anticipated, especially while trying to close his gap to the Jaguar man.
Later on, the grid will fend off in the first leg of the double header with the additional chaos of the Pit Boost mode.
