Crosslink Motorsports will field five FRAC entries at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) this weekend, with 2026 championship leader Evagoras Papasavvas spearheading the team’s latest title push.
Papasavvas will line up alongside Kekai Hauanio, Alex Bobadilla and Aidan Schuh, while Kevin Janzen returns in the Masters class. Crosslink will also continue its F4 U.S. programme with Fernando Rivera representing the team as both championships head north of the border.
The Canadian event begins with testing on Thursday before Practice, Qualifying and the opening FRAC race on Friday. The remaining races will take place across Saturday and Sunday.
Papasavvas leads Crosslink’s FRAC title challenge
Papasavvas arrives at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park at the top of the FRAC Drivers’ Championship and will look to protect his advantage during another three-race weekend.
The Crosslink driver has been one of the championship’s leading performers throughout 2026 and enters the Canadian round with the team firmly focused on maintaining its momentum. CTMP’s 2.459-mile, 10-turn layout provides another significant challenge as the season enters its closing stages.
Crosslink will also have several other opportunities to score strongly through Hauanio, Bobadilla and Schuh. Hauanio remains among the championship’s leading contenders, while Bobadilla arrives after producing a breakthrough podium performance at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
Schuh has also demonstrated improving consistency during recent rounds as he continues his rookie campaign. Together, the four-car outright line-up gives Crosslink several opportunities to influence both the Drivers’ and Teams’ championship battles.
Janzen returns to FRAC Masters competition at CTMP
Janzen completes Crosslink’s five-car FRAC entry as he returns to the cockpit in the Masters class.
The Canadian has remained firmly involved in the Masters Championship battle through a combination of consistent podium finishes and victory during the season. Racing at CTMP also gives him the opportunity to compete in his home country while continuing his pursuit of the class lead.
His presence adds another championship dimension to Crosslink’s weekend. While Papasavvas leads the outright standings, Janzen has his own title ambitions within Masters as the remaining rounds become increasingly important.
Crosslink therefore enters CTMP with championship interests across multiple classifications, giving the team a busy programme throughout the three-day competitive schedule.
Kaszbua wants Crosslink to maintain momentum
Team Owner Gill Kaszbua believes the championship position reflects the work completed across the organisation during the season but expects CTMP to demand a disciplined approach.
The team will use Thursday testing and Friday Practice to establish its baseline before attention turns towards Qualifying and the races.
“We’re looking forward to getting back on track at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park,” said Team Owner Gill Kaszbua. “We’ve had some great momentum this season, and having Evagoras lead the championship is a huge accomplishment for the entire Crosslink Motorsports team. We want to keep that momentum going, while also giving Alex, Aidan, Kevin, and Fernando the equipment they need to fight at the front.
“Canadian Tire is a challenging track, so we’ll focus on getting through testing and qualifying strong, and then executing when the racing begins.”
Crosslink’s objective will therefore centre on maximising each stage of the weekend rather than focusing solely on the championship permutations surrounding Papasavvas.
Bobadilla and Schuh look to continue recent progress
Bobadilla enters CTMP after achieving one of the strongest results of his FRAC career at New Jersey.
The Crosslink driver finished second in the opening race at NJMP to secure his first Formula Regional podium, providing an important breakthrough during the latter half of the campaign. CTMP gives him an immediate opportunity to build on that result and establish himself as a more regular front-running presence.
Schuh also made progress at New Jersey, where he recorded three seventh-place finishes. The rookie’s consistency moved him further up the championship order as his adaptation from competitive downhill mountain biking to single-seater racing continues.
Both drivers give Crosslink additional options in the Teams’ Championship fight. Strong results from across the line-up could prove particularly valuable as the organisation battles Toney Driver Development during the final stages of the season.
Hauanio remains part of Crosslink’s FRAC title picture
Hauanio completes Crosslink’s four-driver outright FRAC entry and remains one of the championship’s leading competitors.
With a race victory already to his name this season, he has demonstrated the pace required to challenge at the front. His results at CTMP could therefore affect both his own championship position and Papasavvas’ battle for the lead.
Having multiple cars near the front can provide a significant advantage in the Teams’ Championship, where every finishing position carries added importance. Crosslink will look to use that depth as it continues its fight with Toney Driver Development.
CTMP’s fast and flowing nature will nevertheless demand confidence from the opening laps of Thursday testing. The team’s ability to find a competitive set-up across all five FRAC cars could determine how effectively it converts its numerical strength into points.
Rivera carries Crosslink colours in F4 U.S.
Rivera will represent Crosslink in F4 U.S. as the Mexican continues a busy 2026 programme across multiple championships.
He has combined his F4 U.S. campaign with appearances in F4 NACAM and arrives in Canada following encouraging recent performances. Rivera secured his first F4 NACAM victory before producing his strongest F4 U.S. weekend to date at New Jersey, where he recorded two top-five finishes.
CTMP now provides another opportunity to continue that upward trajectory. His weekend begins with testing on Thursday before Practice and Qualifying on Friday, with all three F4 U.S. races taking place from Saturday morning through Sunday.
Crosslink’s combined presence across FRAC and F4 U.S. means the team will operate six cars across the two championships during the Canadian weekend.
