After Nyck de Vries topped the timing sheets in FP1 of the Monaco E-Prix, FP2 was underway on the chaotic streets of Monaco.
A few minutes into the session, Antonio Da Costa had his lap time deleted for track limit violations. The FP2 session quickly saw action as the Lola of Zane Maloney found the barrier of Beau Rivage. The red flags brought the session to a halt, giving the drivers less time to prepare for the upcoming Qualifying.
Maloney was not the only one to get unlucky, as Taylor Barnard had a snap that led to light contact with the barriers. Still, the DS Penske driver was able to save it despite a distorted steering wheel. Nick Cassidy also appeared to have issues, as he was the only driver who remained in the pits for the last bit of FP2.
In the end, Nyck de Vries once again came out on top of the free practice session with a lap time of 1:26.664. He was closely followed by teammate Edoardo Mortara, and Mitch Evans in third.
