When the green flag was waved, Hauger got a perfect start, comfortably leading into turn 1. Salvador de Alba had a superb first lap, gaining four spots. Jack William Miller also made up four from last on the grid.

James Roe lost three places as he got squeezed out at turn 1.

Callum Hedge was the biggest loser as he ended going sideways in turn 8, resulting in him finishing in the gravel.

Hauger, Collet, Papasavvas, Hughes, Rowe, Pierson, Sceats, Aron, de Alba, Murray was the top 10 when the caution was thrown.

Jack William Miller continued his charge after the restart as he passed Escotto and Missig to move into 14th.

Nolan Allaer had to pit due to a loss of power.

Niels Koolen started to drop down the pack as Taylor and Miller overtook him on successive laps.

After spinning at turn 8 and losing a number of spots, Murray made contact with Callum Hedge in the high speed turn 11 and 12, spinning around.

A second caution was thrown on lap 11 as debris was left on the racing line at turn 5. Salvador de Alba and Bryce Aron made contact as the Mexican tried to go up the inside, dropping them to P13 and P16 respectively.

Unseen on the cameras, Caio Collet fell to P14 when a caution was thrown. It was reported he had a throttle issue that eventually fixed itself.

Hauger, Papasavvas, Hughes, Rowe, Pierson, Sceats, Taylor, Roe, Miller and Escotto was the top 10 on the second restart. Miller’s remarkable charge continued, beautifully passing Roe for P8 outside of turn 5.

On lap 23, the car gremlins for Collet returned as he pretty much came to a stop on track before it came to life again. However he dropped to P18.

At turn 5 on lap 25 Escotto made a big lunge on James Roe and made the move stick for P9, although there was a bit of wheel rubbing on the way to turn 8.

As Papasavvas started to run out of rear tyres, Hughes, Rowe and Pierson closed in. Out front Dennis Hauger ran away from the field to win by over 10 seconds from the debutant, with Hughes making it 2/2 on rostrum appearances.

Rowe, Pierson, Sceats, Taylor, Miller, Escotto and Roe rounded out the top 10.
