SRO Motorsports Australia has confirmed a major new partnership ahead of the 2026 season, with ROWE Motor Oil named the official lubricants partner of GT World Challenge (GTWC) Australia powered by AWS. This collaboration not only strengthens the championship’s commercial portfolio but also reinforces its growing international standing.

A partnership built on performance

Founded in Germany in 1995, ROWE Motor Oil has earned a global reputation for producing high-performance lubricants tailored for both road and motorsport applications. Its products are engineered to deliver reliability, efficiency and maximum engine protection, even under the most demanding conditions.

Consequently, the partnership brings valuable technical expertise into the Australian paddock. With a strong presence in international motorsport, ROWE’s involvement ensures teams and competitors benefit from proven performance solutions throughout the season.

Moreover, this agreement reflects the continued global expansion of GT World Challenge Australia. By aligning with a well-established international brand, the series enhances its credibility and visibility beyond domestic borders.

As part of the deal, ROWE Motor Oil branding will appear on every car across the grid during the 2026 campaign. This consistent presence underlines the company’s commitment while simultaneously elevating the professional image of the championship.

SRO Motorsports Australia CEO Ben McMellan expressed his enthusiasm for the new collaboration and its broader impact on the series:

“It’s fantastic to have ROWE Motor Oil join GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS in 2026 as the official Lubricants Partner as it expands the series’ global reach with another world-renowned brand,” McMellan said. “I am looking forward to working with the team at ROWE and seeing our customers take advantage of the opportunities presented to them as part of our partnership.”

Meanwhile, ROWE Motor Oil CEO Dr Alexandra Kohlmann highlighted the longstanding relationship with SRO and the strategic importance of the Australian expansion:

“As the official Lubricants Partner of the SRO, we have been working side by side for many years, further emphasising our motorsport DNA,” Dr Kohlmann said. “The fact that our products will be used on another continent in future is not only impressive proof of performance for the Made in Germany seal of quality, but also an important part of our international growth strategy.

“We are proud to expand our commitment as a global partner of the SRO and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration.”

Looking ahead to the season opener at Phillip Island

Looking ahead, the 2026 season begins at the Shannons SpeedSeries’ LIQUI MOLY GT Festival at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit from 27–29 March. This highly anticipated event will set the tone for a campaign that now benefits from increased manufacturer participation and strengthened commercial backing.

As the lights go out for the opening race, the championship does so with renewed momentum and a partnership designed to drive performance both on and off the track.
