The 2026 Euroformula Open season reached its fourth round at the Hungaroring, where the championship produced three different winners across another tightly contested weekend.
BVM Racing set the early pace through Javier Herrera, who topped Free Practice 1 before claiming his second pole of the season. However, Team Motopark controlled the races, with Everett Stack winning Race 1, Diego de la Torre claiming his maiden Euroformula Open victory in Race 2, and Rui-Heng Yeh returning to the top step in Race 3.
As a result, Yeh left Hungary with his championship lead intact and extended. The Taiwanese driver now holds a 74-point advantage over de la Torre, while Stack remains firmly in contention in third.

Yeh restores momentum as Motopark controls Hungary
The Hungaroring weekend started with BVM Racing in command, as Herrera topped Free Practice 1 and took pole. However, Motopark turned the round into a statement once racing began.
Stack took his first win of the season, de la Torre finally converted his pace into a maiden victory, and Yeh ended his winless run with a composed Race 3 performance. Therefore, Motopark not only swept the races but also strengthened its position in both championships.
With Yeh now 74 points clear, the title picture continues to lean towards the Taiwanese driver. However, de la Torre, Stack, Carrasquedo, Famularo and Herrera all left Hungary with strong moments, keeping the battle behind the leader alive heading into the next round.
