Free Practice for Round 6 of the 2026 Formula 3 (F3) season got underway at Spa-Francorchamps during the Belgian GP weekend, under green light conditions.

Several drivers ventured out early, while others remained in the pitlane before the entire field regrouped ahead of the restart. Noah Strømsted, last year’s Sprint Race winner at the circuit, led the TRIDENT car out first, with McLaughlin and Shin following shortly before the rest of the grid joined them with over thirty minutes remaining.

Giusti set the initial benchmark with a 2:06.895, before Taponen improved to a 2:06.622. Slater responded with a 2:06.311, moving to the top of the times, with Clerot and Gladysz completing the top three.

As the session entered its final ten minutes, the full grid returned to the track. Naël climbed to second, 0.151 seconds off Slater’s pace, though the ageing Hard tyres limited further improvements. Sharp produced a purple first sector as the chequered flag fell.

Slater ended the session fastest, ahead of Nael, Clerot, Gładysz, Rivera, Ugochukwu, Sharp, Kato, Taponen and Lacorte.
