Connor Willis has retained his maiden GB4 Championship victory after post-race penalties amended the Race 3 classification at Silverstone in 2026.
Conor Grant originally finished fourth, but the Douglas Motorsport driver was disqualified alongside Fox Motorsport’s Jasser Iskander for failing to comply with yellow flag signals. Their exclusions moved Fred Green up to fourth and championship leader Alex O’Grady to fifth.
Grant and Iskander disqualified for yellow flag breaches
Grant had crossed the line fourth after starting eighth and narrowly missed the podium behind Willis, Torrin Byrne and Thomas Ingram Hill.
However, the Stewards later determined that the driver of car #54 had failed to comply with yellow flag signals. As a result, they disqualified Grant from the Race 3 classification.
Iskander received the same sanction. The Fox Motorsport Rookie had finished 16th on the road, but the Stewards also disqualified car #33 for failing to comply with yellow flag signals.
Their exclusions promoted Green from fifth to fourth, while O’Grady moved into the top five. Dayton Coulthard advanced to sixth ahead of Matan Achituv and John O’Donnell.
Amrouche receives five-second penalty
Solenn Amrouche also received a five-second time penalty following the Safety Car restart.
The Stewards determined that the Arden Motorsport driver gained an unfair advantage by overlapping car #23 at the restart. Amrouche had originally crossed the line 20th, but the amended classification places her 21st.
Four drivers receive grid penalties
The Stewards also handed four drivers grid penalties for their next GB4 race following incidents during the Silverstone finale.
The driver of car #42 received a 10-place grid penalty for causing a collision with Josh McLean. Enzo Hallman will drop five places at his next race after the Stewards held him responsible for his opening-lap collision with Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso.
Ingram Hill retains his third-place finish but received a five-place grid penalty after gaining an unfair advantage by overtaking Grant outside the track limits.
Faris Organji also received a 10-place grid penalty for his next race. The Stewards held the Scorpio Motorsport driver responsible for the Vale collision involving cars #4 and #22.
