FP2 at the 2026 F1 Spanish GP at the Madring has been completed, view the full results of the session here.
In FP1, George Russell led Mercedes teammate and championship leader Kimi Antonelli as they found a lot more performance out of the soft tyre compared to Ferrari. Charles Leclerc was P3, ahead of Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time World Champion had led most of the session as he was flying on mediums.
Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and Arvid Lindblad were the other drivers within a second of car #63. Piastri, Hülkenberg and Lawson completed the top 10.
Despite all the carnage in F3 and F2, there was not a single red flag in FP1 as the top drivers in single-seaters showed their quality.
