A dramatic and rain-affected F2 Feature Race at the Miami GP saw changing conditions, multiple incidents, and strategic gambles shape the outcome from start to finish. In the end, Gabriele Minì capitalised on late-race chaos to snatch a stunning last-gasp victory.

Kush Maini started from pole, with Rafael Câmara alongside him on the front row. Notably, organisers brought the race start forward to 09:25 local time due to heavy rain over Miami, setting up a wet and unpredictable contest. Championship leader Nikola Tsolov lined up in P10 after claiming victory in the Sprint Race, while Maini aimed to bounce back from his earlier retirement. With wet conditions in play, strategy and tyre choice proved crucial.

Before the start, Roman Bilinski stopped on his way to the grid and retired. At lights out, Maini made a strong launch, but drama struck immediately as Inthraphuvasak made contact with Tsolov at Turn 1, ending the championship leader’s race. A Safety Car was deployed, and further incidents involving Oliver Goethe and later Alex Dunne kept interruptions frequent in the opening laps.

Martinius Stenshorne served a stop-and-go penalty, while Inthraphuvasak received a drive-through for failing to serve his penalty correctly. As the race switched to a timed format, pit stops became decisive. Câmara jumped ahead of Maini in the pit lane, while Joshua Dürksen, Colton Herta, and John Bennett stayed out.

Further incidents involving Stenshorne, Nico Varrone, and Cian Shields triggered additional late Safety Cars. Bennett made a bold call to switch to slick tyres, while Gabriele Minì impressed with a strong move on León for P3. Several drivers were also noted for post-race investigations due to unsafe pit lane releases.

In the closing stages, Câmara ran wide, allowing Dino Beganovic and Minì to go three-wide for the lead. Minì seized the moment to move into P2, while Beganovic took P1. However, a late mistake from Beganovic handed Minì a dramatic last-lap victory, with Beganovic unable to respond in time.
