After a week off from Canada, the 2026 F2 grid hit the streets of Monte Carlo for the Monaco GP Free Practice session, see the full results below.
Ollie Goethe initially came to a stop at Turn 16, halting his MP Motorsport car and bringing out the red flag with 24 minutes left of the session. When the session resumed, Dunne rose to the top of the timings, but it was TRIDENT’s van Hoepen who was the first driver to break into the 1:23s.
Dunne returned to the top of the timesheets with a 1:23.219 before Minì responded with a 1:23.180 to reclaim P1.
The Irishman then became the first driver to break into the 1:22s, setting a 1:22.763. However, the session was soon interrupted again when Villagómez snapped at Turn 3 and made contact with the barriers, prompting another red flag.
The session resumed again with 13 minutes on the clock. Maini and Minì moved into the 1:21s.
At the conclusion of the 2026 F2 Monaco GP Free Practice session, Minì topped the timings, with Maini in P2 and Dunne in P3.
