Luke Hilton put Nitrous Competition ADM Racing on top as 2026 GB4 pre-event testing began at Oulton Park on Thursday. The 18-year-old British contender delivered the day’s fastest lap in the third of four sessions, posting a 1:35.577 around the 2.692-mile International circuit. That effort placed him 0.123s clear of Fortec Motorsports’ Thomas Ingram Hill, who also found his best lap in the same session.

Hilton’s pace proved decisive on the combined order, despite a quieter final run. Ingram Hill kept the pressure on throughout the day and later led the shortened fourth session with a 1:36.329, underlining Fortec’s strong form across both the overall and rookie classifications.

Hallman and O’Grady lead the early running

Enzo Hallman opened the day fastest for Hillspeed, setting a 1:35.858 in the first session. Alex O’Grady then moved KMR Sport to the top before lunch with a 1:35.881 in session two, edging Fortec rookie Franciszek Cegielski by 0.112s.

Those early laps kept both drivers near the front once the day’s combined times took shape. Hallman ended Thursday third overall, 0.281s off Hilton, while O’Grady followed in fourth, only 0.023s further back.

Cegielski heads the rookies as top 12 stay close

Cegielski completed the top five overall and led the rookie runners with a best lap of 1:35.993. Elite Motorsport championship leader Fred Green followed just 0.003s behind in sixth after setting his best time in session three.

Pace Performance’s Torrin Byrne placed seventh, while Hillspeed’s Connor Willis took eighth. Douglas Motorsport’s Dayton Coulthard finished ninth, just 0.006s ahead of Pace Performance’s Joshua McLean in 10th.

The top 10 finished within 0.832s of Hilton’s benchmark, while the top 12 all lapped inside one second of the outright pace. Testing resumes on Friday with two further 30-minute sessions.
