Alex O’Grady has been crowned the 2026 GB4 Drivers’ Champion after Round 7 at Brands Hatch, completing a season defined by consistency with a 33-point advantage over Fred Green.
The KMR Sport driver entered the finale 49 points ahead of Green and responded to his rival’s dominant pace with two crucial second-place finishes in the opening races. Green won both conventional-grid contests from pole, but O’Grady’s Race 2 podium secured the championship before the reverse-grid finale.
Behind them, Enzo Hallman ultimately beat Thomas Ingram Hill to third in the standings by only three points, while Dayton Coulthard slipped from third to fifth. Michael Koh then closed the season with his maiden victory in Race 3 at Brands Hatch, while Matan Achituv and Connor Willis completed the final podium of the year.
The Teams’ Championship also changed significantly during the finale. Elite Motorsport converted its pre-event advantage into the title, while Hillspeed and Fortec Motorsports climbed past Pace Performance to complete the final top three.
O’Grady secures 2026 GB4 title with 445 points
O’Grady arrived at Brands Hatch on 373 points, carrying a 49-point advantage over Green. With 102 still available, five drivers remained mathematically capable of taking the title, but the KMR Sport driver remained firmly in control.
Green applied as much pressure as possible by securing both poles and winning the opening two races. However, O’Grady finished directly behind him on both occasions. Those results meant Green could only make relatively small gains despite taking maximum race points.
O’Grady mathematically settled the championship in Race 2 after moving ahead of Ingram Hill at the start and finishing second. He subsequently added another points finish in the amended reverse-grid finale and reached 445 points in the final Drivers’ Championship standings.
His Brands Hatch haul added 72 points to the 373 he carried into the weekend. More importantly, his final total completed a season in which he finished every race and consistently limited the damage whenever Green enjoyed the stronger outright pace.
Green’s double victory cuts final deficit to 33 points
Green produced almost everything required to keep his championship challenge alive at Brands Hatch. The Elite Motorsport driver began 49 points behind O’Grady but immediately put himself in the strongest possible position by taking a double pole during Qualifying.
He converted both into victories, taking Race 1 before winning Race 2 by more than five seconds. O’Grady’s consecutive runner-up finishes nevertheless prevented the large championship swings Green needed.
Green entered the finale on 324 points and added 88 across the three races to finish on 412. His charge from the midfield in Race 3 provided another strong result, but O’Grady had already secured the championship earlier in the day.
The final gap consequently stands at 33 points. Green finishes comfortably clear of the battle for third and ends his rookie single-seater campaign as O’Grady’s closest championship rival.
Hallman beats Ingram Hill to third
The closest battle in the final standings came behind the leading pair.
Coulthard entered Brands Hatch third on 290 points, nine ahead of Hallman and 13 ahead of Ingram Hill. However, a difficult weekend for the Douglas Motorsport driver allowed both of his closest rivals to move ahead.
Hallman finished fourth in each of the opening two races before the amended Race 3 result gave him another strong haul. He added 60 points across the weekend and climbed from 281 to 341.
Ingram Hill also enjoyed one of his strongest rounds. He took two podium finishes in the conventional-grid races before adding another points finish in Race 3, scoring 61 across the weekend. His final total of 338 leaves him only three behind Hallman.
Hallman therefore moves from fourth to third, while Ingram Hill climbs from fifth to fourth. Their fight remained open until the final race, with only the smallest margin separating them after 21 races.
Coulthard falls from third to fifth
Coulthard experienced the largest movement among the five drivers who entered Brands Hatch with a mathematical championship chance.
The Douglas Motorsport driver arrived third on 290 points but managed only 23 during the finale. He scored in Race 1, missed Race 2 and then received a track-limits penalty in the reverse-grid contest.
His final total of 313 leaves him fifth, 28 behind Hallman and 25 behind Ingram Hill.
Although Coulthard loses two positions during the finale, fifth still completes a season that included multiple victories and periods when he remained close enough to the leaders to sustain a mathematical title challenge until the final round.
Byrne and McLean secure sixth and seventh for Pace Performance
Pace Performance teammates Torrin Byrne and Josh McLean retain sixth and seventh respectively.
Byrne entered the weekend sixth on 232 points and added 38 to finish on 270. He remained inside the leading group during the opening race before adding further points across Sunday.
McLean arrived seventh on 220 after winning the Donington Park reverse-grid race. Brands Hatch proved more difficult, with the American-Korean driver adding 19 points to reach 239.
The pair therefore finish 31 points apart and give Pace Performance two drivers inside the final top seven.
Their combined scoring also kept the team involved in a remarkably tight battle for the leading positions in the Teams’ Championship, although the final round ultimately dropped Pace from second to fourth.
Cegielski seals eighth and Rookie honours
Franciszek Cegielski finishes eighth overall and as the highest-placed rookie after another productive Brands Hatch weekend.
The Fortec Motorsports driver arrived ninth on 193 points before adding 39 during the finale. He scored strongly in both conventional-grid races and remained among the leading midfield runners in Race 3.
His 232-point total moves him ahead of Luke Hilton and completes a strong rookie campaign in which he regularly challenged more experienced drivers.
Cegielski’s points also proved crucial to Fortec’s late-season Teams’ Championship charge. Together with Ingram Hill, he helped the squad add 100 points during the Brands Hatch round and climb from fifth to third in the final classification.
Willis and Achituv complete the top 10
Connor Willis and Matan Achituv both move into the final championship top 10 after strong performances in the last race of the year.
Willis entered Brands Hatch 10th on 181 points and collected 40 during the finale. His weekend culminated with third in Race 3, only 0.952s behind winner Koh. The result takes him to 221 and ninth overall.
Achituv started the weekend immediately behind Willis on 180. He remained close to the points across the opening races before producing his strongest result in the finale, finishing second behind Koh after pressuring the Arden Motorsport driver throughout.
Achituv therefore adds 36 points and reaches 216, moving into 10th.
Luke Hilton, who did not add to the 205 points he carried into Brands Hatch, consequently drops from eighth to 12th, while Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso finishes between Achituv and Hilton on 209.

Elite Motorsport completes remarkable Teams’ Championship recovery
Elite Motorsport entered Brands Hatch leading the Teams’ Championship on 547 points, only 17 clear of Pace Performance.
That position already represented a significant recovery after the team lost all of its Silverstone Teams’ Championship points following a testing regulations breach at the opening round.
Brands Hatch then produced Elite’s strongest possible response. Green won both conventional-grid races, Achituv finished second in the finale and Del Grosso also contributed significant points after returning to the car following his Donington absence.
The team added 141 points across the three races, considerably more than any direct rival, to reach 688.
Elite therefore finishes 86 points clear of Hillspeed despite beginning its Teams’ Championship recovery from zero after the Silverstone penalty.
Hillspeed climbs from third to second
Hillspeed entered the final round third on 502 points, only one ahead of Douglas Motorsport but 28 behind Pace Performance.
Hallman and Willis combined for a strong Brands Hatch weekend. Hallman finished fourth in both conventional-grid races and remained near the front in Race 3, while Willis completed the season with his podium behind Koh and Achituv.
Those results added 100 points and lifted Hillspeed to 602.
The team therefore climbs one position to finish second overall, only four points ahead of Fortec Motorsports.
Fortec jumps from fifth to third
Fortec Motorsport produced one of the largest Teams’ Championship gains during the finale.
The squad arrived fifth on 498 points, behind Elite, Pace Performance, Hillspeed and Douglas Motorsport. However, Ingram Hill’s two podium finishes and Cegielski’s consistent scoring transformed its position.
Fortec also added exactly 100 points during the final three races and reaches 598, only four behind Hillspeed.
That moves the team from fifth to third in a single weekend. More importantly, the result leaves Fortec three points ahead of Pace Performance after 21 races.
Pace Performance drops from second to fourth
Pace Performance entered Brands Hatch as Elite Motorsport’s closest Teams’ Championship challenger on 530 points.
However, the finale did not produce the same level of scoring as several of its rivals. Byrne remained competitive across the weekend, but McLean and John O’Donnell endured more difficult races, limiting Pace to 65 additional points.
The team consequently ends the year on 595. That would have comfortably kept it inside the top three based on its pre-event rivals’ totals, but 100-point weekends for both Hillspeed and Fortec push Pace down two positions.
Only seven points ultimately cover Hillspeed, Fortec and Pace Performance in second, third and fourth.
Douglas drops to fifth as KMR Sport remains sixth
Douglas Motorsport also loses a position during the finale.
The team entered Brands Hatch fourth on 501 points but added only 38 across the three races. Coulthard’s difficult weekend restricted one of its main scoring opportunities, although Conor Grant continued adding points.
Douglas therefore finishes on 539, dropping behind both Fortec and the teams that already sat ahead of it.
KMR Sport remains sixth on 528. O’Grady’s two runner-up finishes contributed heavily to its 81-point Brands Hatch haul, but the champion’s team finishes 11 points behind Douglas.

Brands Hatch settles both 2026 championships
Brands Hatch ultimately confirmed O’Grady as the fifth GB4 Drivers’ Champion after a season in which consistency repeatedly protected him from Green’s superior peak pace.
Green produced the stronger finale at the front, taking both poles and winning both conventional-grid races, but O’Grady’s consecutive runner-up finishes ensured his 49-point pre-event advantage never came under sufficient pressure. The final 33-point margin reflects a season-long battle that remained mathematically open until Race 2.
The fight behind them remained even closer. Hallman beats Ingram Hill to third by only three points, while Cegielski, Willis and Achituv all gain championship positions during the final round.
The Teams’ Championship also changed considerably. Elite converts a 17-point pre-event lead into an 86-point title margin, while Hillspeed and Fortec both overtake Pace Performance. Only seven points separate second from fourth in the final classification.
After seven rounds and 21 races, O’Grady and Elite Motorsport therefore leave Brands Hatch with the two principal 2026 GB4 titles.
