Crosslink Motorsports will continue its 2026 Formula Regional Americas (FRAC) and Formula 4 United States campaigns at New Jersey Motorsports Park as both championships move into the second half of their seasons.
The AJ Foyt Racing driver development programme will field five cars in FR Americas, led by championship leader Evagoras Papasavvas. Kekai Hauanio also arrives firmly involved in the title battle, while Alex Bobadilla, Aiden Schuh and Masters competitor Kevin Janzen complete the team’s line-up.
Meanwhile, Fernando Rivera will represent Crosslink in F4 U.S. as he continues his development during his first season with the team. With several drivers fighting near the front of their respective classifications, Crosslink heads to New Jersey focused on extending its championship advantage while adding further victories and podiums.
Papasavvas arrives as FR Americas championship leader
Papasavvas has established himself as Crosslink’s leading championship contender through the opening half of the FR Americas season. He enters New Jersey at the top of the Drivers’ standings after consistently converting his pace into strong results.
However, Crosslink will bring several potential front-runners to NJMP. Hauanio currently occupies fourth in the championship after regularly competing near the front, while Bobadilla has moved inside the top 10 during his Rookie campaign.
Schuh returns to the team’s five-car line-up with an opportunity to continue the progress he has made throughout the season. Meanwhile, Janzen will once again contest the Masters classification after already earning multiple podium finishes in 2026.
Kaszuba believes the team enters New Jersey in a strong position after building momentum throughout the opening rounds.
“New Jersey is always an exciting stop on the schedule, and we’re looking forward to getting back to work,” says Kaszuba. “Evagoras and Kekai have put together excellent seasons so far, and Alex, Aiden, and Kevin continue to make great progress every weekend. Fernando has also continued to improve in F4, and we’re excited to see what he can accomplish this weekend. The entire team has been working hard, and our goal is to keep building on the momentum we’ve created during the first half of the season.”
Hauanio remains firmly involved in championship fight
Although Papasavvas leads the standings, Hauanio gives Crosslink another strong opportunity in the championship battle.
His fourth-place position reflects a consistent opening half of the season in which he has repeatedly featured among the leading group. As the championship enters a more decisive stage, another strong points haul at New Jersey could move him closer to the top three.
That depth gives Crosslink several strategic advantages. Rather than relying solely on Papasavvas to challenge for victories, the team can attack with multiple drivers while gathering data across its five-car operation.
Bobadilla has also strengthened that depth during his Rookie campaign. His position inside the championship’s top 10 demonstrates the progress he has made while adapting to Formula Regional machinery, and New Jersey provides another opportunity to continue that trajectory.
Schuh and Janzen complete five-car FR Americas effort
Schuh rejoins the Crosslink FR Americas line-up as he looks to build additional momentum during the second half of the campaign.
The team will therefore field drivers with different objectives across the weekend. Papasavvas will focus on protecting and extending his championship lead, Hauanio will attempt to close the gap ahead, while Bobadilla and Schuh will target further progress and stronger individual results.
Janzen, meanwhile, continues his Masters campaign after already reaching the podium multiple times this season. His programme gives Crosslink representation in another classification and adds further experience to the five-car operation.
Running such a large entry should also provide the team with considerable information throughout Friday testing and Saturday Qualifying. Crosslink can compare feedback between its drivers while refining set-ups before the opening race.
Rivera continues F4 U.S. development
Rivera will carry Crosslink’s colours in F4 U.S. at New Jersey as he continues accumulating experience in the championship.
The 2026 season has given him regular opportunities to develop his racecraft and adapt to the demands of Formula 4 machinery. Crosslink has also highlighted the progress he has made across the opening rounds.
New Jersey now presents another chance for Rivera to translate that development into stronger results. With three races scheduled across Saturday and Sunday, he will have multiple opportunities to compete for points while continuing his progression within the team’s driver development structure.
His programme also forms part of Crosslink’s wider relationship with AJ Foyt Racing. The team uses its junior single-seater operations to help drivers develop through the American racing ladder, making each F4 and Formula Regional weekend an important part of that process.
Crosslink enters decisive second half of season
The New Jersey weekend comes at an increasingly important point in the 2026 campaign.
Papasavvas has already established a championship lead, but the remaining rounds will provide fewer opportunities to recover from setbacks. Consequently, consistency will carry growing importance alongside outright victories.
Hauanio also has an opportunity to strengthen his title challenge from fourth, while Bobadilla can continue building on a Rookie season that has already placed him inside the overall top 10.
At the same time, Schuh and Janzen give Crosslink further opportunities to pursue strong results across the FR Americas field. Rivera will aim to continue his upward trajectory in F4 U.S.
With championship positions becoming increasingly important, Crosslink will approach New Jersey with both short-term and long-term objectives. Race wins and podiums remain central targets, but every point can also influence the championship picture as the season moves towards its closing rounds.
New Jersey weekend begins with Friday testing
Crosslink will begin its New Jersey Motorsports Park programme with official testing on Friday.
Qualifying follows on Saturday morning before FR Americas and F4 U.S. contest their first races later that afternoon. Both championships will then complete the weekend with two races on Sunday.
The schedule gives Crosslink three opportunities in each series to add to its 2026 results. For Papasavvas, the weekend offers a chance to increase his FR Americas championship advantage, while Hauanio can strengthen his own position among the leading contenders.
Bobadilla, Schuh and Janzen will also seek further progress within the five-car Formula Regional operation, while Rivera continues his F4 U.S. development.
Crosslink enters the event with championship ambitions already established and several drivers capable of challenging near the front.
