Jamie Leverton will join Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing for the remainder of the 2026 GB4 Championship season.

The British youngster moves across from Idola Motorsport after completing every race during the opening stages of his rookie campaign. He also scored his first championship points during his home round at Oulton Park last month.

Leverton will now race alongside Luke Hilton and Caitlyn McDaniel as Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing expands to a three-car line-up. Team principal Gary Ward and co-owner David Williams will oversee his continued development throughout the rest of the season.

Leverton targets further progress with new team

Leverton began his first GB4 campaign with Idola Motorsport and quickly established a record of consistency.

The Stoke-on-Trent resident reached the finish in every race before breaking into the points at Oulton Park. Those results gave him a platform to build on as he continues his transition into single-seater competition.

However, Leverton will now begin the next stage of his development with Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing. He believes Ward’s experience and the pace of his new teammates can help him make further progress.

“As I continue my first season in GB4, this is a great opportunity for me to continue my development. Gary Ward has so much experience I can learn from, and he has worked with some excellent drivers in the past, I hope I can become one of those!

“I’m looking forward to driving in the team with my new teammates, Luke is one of the fastest drivers on the grid, while Caitlyn has made big steps forward since joining the team, and that’s my aim for the rest of the year.

“Obviously this is a new team for me, and I’d just like to say thank you to Idola Motorsport for helping me through my initial steps in racing. I wish them well for the future.”

Leverton’s comments reflect his focus on development rather than immediate results. With limited car-racing experience, he will aim to use the remaining rounds to improve his pace and learn from the team around him.

Hilton and McDaniel provide strong reference points

The move places Leverton alongside two drivers who can provide valuable benchmarks throughout the rest of the campaign.

Hilton has established himself as one of the quickest drivers on the GB4 grid, while McDaniel has made clear progress since joining Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing. Leverton can therefore compare data and feedback with two teammates at different stages of their development.

Furthermore, the three-car structure will give the team more information during testing and race weekends. Each driver can contribute feedback, allowing the squad to evaluate set-up changes across several cars.

Leverton has already identified his teammates’ progress as a source of motivation. He will now aim to follow McDaniel’s example while learning from Hilton’s front-running speed.

Ward sees potential in Leverton’s early results

Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing had not originally planned to operate three cars during the 2026 GB4 season.

However, Leverton’s consistency and early points finishes convinced the team to expand its programme. Ward believes the young driver has already met the key expectations for someone at the beginning of a car-racing career.

“I’m really pleased to welcome Jamie to the team. He is very new to car racing, and has done all that could have been asked of him initially, by finishing every race so far, and scoring points.

“There’s obvious ability for us to work with, so we’re looking forward to extracting that as the season goes on, and he’s a great addition alongside Luke and Caitlyn. We hadn’t actually planned to run a third car in GB4 this year, but the opportunity to work with Jamie and develop him, pretty much from the start of his career, was something we were always going to be interested in.”

Ward’s comments highlight the importance of Leverton’s reliability during the opening rounds. Although outright pace remains an important target, completing every race has given him valuable mileage and experience.

The team will now work to unlock more of his potential as the season progresses.

Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing expands its programme

Leverton’s arrival also marks another step in the growth of Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing.

Ward and Williams have continued to strengthen the team’s facilities and driver development programme. The addition of a third car will allow the squad to increase its presence in GB4 while supporting another young driver.

Williams believes Leverton will gain from the team’s expanding technical resources and coaching structure. He also expects Hilton and McDaniel to play an important role in helping their new teammate settle into the squad.

“We’re excited to build up to a three car team, and Jamie is a promising young driver who will benefit from our knowledge, and from having two talented teammates alongside him.

“He’s already settled in well with the team, and will benefit immediately from our growing in house facilities and driver coaching set-up. We’re looking forward to seeing him on track with us for the first time in the pre-event test days this week.”

The pre-event tests will give Leverton his first opportunity to work with the team at the circuit. They will also allow him to familiarise himself with the engineers, operating procedures and set-up approach before his first competitive appearance.

Leverton begins a new chapter in his rookie season

Leverton enters the next phase of the championship with a perfect finishing record and his first GB4 points already secured.

The move to Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing gives him access to an experienced leadership group, an expanding development structure and two competitive teammates. In turn, the team gains a promising rookie who has demonstrated consistency throughout his first months in car racing.

Leverton will now focus on closing the gap to the leading drivers and increasing his points total across the remaining events.

While the switch introduces a new environment during the middle of his rookie campaign, it also gives him an opportunity to accelerate his development. With testing set to begin this week, Leverton can now start building towards his first race weekend with his new team.
